Imagine the insane rush you would get if you managed to get stuck on the top floor of the tallest building as it was falling!! (assuming u somehow managed to survive of course)
Watched several, I think this is the best! Love watching the tallest section come falling over then get to watch it all go back up, brick by brick, and then come back down again!!!
The explosion was in the Taxpayer's pockets! toledoblade. com/local/2012/01/02/Huron-to-celebrate-as-riverside-buildings-fall-2.html
“Contractors for the Erie County city are to demolish two buildings Jan. 8 on a peninsula near the mouth of the Huron River. […] The milling facility’s implosion is among the final stages in the 19½-acre property’s cleanup, for which Huron in 2010 received a $2 million grant from the Clean Ohio Revitalization Fund.”
Great idea to reverse the implosion Nick... to often the action's over in a flash!

Did you know they charged $50 a piece for tickets to watch the demolition? I have to wonder if anyone actually bought a ticket. :)

@sk8bdr0216 Oh, well I surely did not know that! But even for this worthy cause, that ticket price seems a bit steep.

Thanks for posting. The view from the South was much better than from where I was in the boat basin.
