love the video and song...am i missing something in the movie? how come in the last scenes christine is wearing a different dress from the dress she was wearing on stage and how come the phantom's hair isn't black anymore? is it just sloppy editing or is there some profound occurence i am missing?

By the end of the movie Christine takes the Phantom's mask off on stage and with it she takes off his wig. In his lair after the revealing during "Point of No Return" the Phantom forces Christine into a wedding dress he has made for her and asks her to marry him. How did you miss that? Anyway lovely video fadeaway2u77. It hits the very core of my heart. I've been through an eclipse of the heart. Love it!

She takes it off with his mask on stage. It goes by fast but you can still catch it. And earlier in his lair you can see the Phantom has a bust of himself where there's a wig on top. And he's not shown physically forcing her into the dress but the model he has of Christine has the wedding dress on.That's the same dress that she has on in the end. And he doesn't propose to her technically but we all know he wants her to marry him.

they could "never be wrong together"....jim steinman's music, going all the way back to "Bat Out of Hell" has been criticized as being too operatic, "Wagnerian"...but it certainly lends itself perfectly to POTO...I love it...incidentally steinman almost always sings backup or harmony on his songs...he did have a hit on his own with "Rock and Roll Dreams Come True"...seems somehow prophetic now...thanks for the video...

I posted about Christine.. and now that i'm watching again Roy Dodd (is that right??) who sings "turn around bright eyes" is the Phantom for lack of a better term calling her home. he knows she loves him but she hasn't been able to admit it cuz like i said that kind of emotion is frighting. not to mention for that time period not acceptable.

this song is so hauntingly beautiful and fits Erik/Christine perfectly.. the lyrics (those sung by Bonnie Tyler) describe Christine's emotions freakishly well.. she is afarid of the Phantom yet at the same time loves him so fiercely which I think to her is more frightening then the Phantom himself. to love someone that much can be frightening
