I SAW THE "BARF BONNET" ON A GRAIN TRAIN NEAR SPOKANE, WASHINGTON A COUPLE MONTHS BACK... I ALMOST CAUSED A WRECK FROM TURNING AROUND TO LOOK AT THE ENGINE AS THE TRAIN PASSED... I HOPE THEY LEAVE THAT AND DONT RE-PAINT IT. GREAT VID!
the locomotive will work in Ferromex, on Friday arrived at dawn at the border along with other six SD70MAC Executive `s and 40 locomotives are expected more, come to be rented for 123 days Ferromex, excellent tribute 5***** and favorits
I like all the pictures but i like the one where the vomit bonnet leads the CN

the really should've applied that paint scheme to all the MACs but instead with the CNSH initials!

Vommit Bonnet... Very funny! I find it not so bad, but I prefer the orange paint scheme.
DaringDramis 1 year ago
I hope to God that they don't repaint that into H3.

Why did BNSF choose that shitty orange over this? Its not bad, way better than the "Pumpkin", especially the ones with the new bnsf logo

LOL I forget that the Vomit Bonnet was still out there lol!

In my humble opinion, BNSF should have picked this paint scheme instead of that awful orange color.

All I know is, it can mostly be found in the midwest, but on occasions, it will go up to Canada, the northeast, or southern California.
trainboy94 3 years ago
why did they make it like this??? along with the Yellow Whoosh unit and the Gevo w/ yellow power bar?
xxxDeath9572xxx 3 years ago

@gw90isback Some websites have the ability to track where any locomotive is at any time.

Yay, it's the Vomit Bonnet!
Nice collection of pics.

HMMM, you may have a point there. BNSF would actually have 2 heritage units then. 9647 and that GEVO with the Yellow Power Bar.
SF3751 3 years ago
It may not be the best looking but like you said a one of a kind and I hope it stays that way and they don't repaint it!!!
