This actually one of the few pit I have seen that actually is this large with conformation and does not have a bunch of bandogge traits. However again I think people need to be clear of the genetic make up of staffies and APBT which share the same gene pool. You can selectively breed traits out of a dog within 10-20 years. I do agree that the American Bully needs more correctness, and conformation. This 135 lb'er is the trend setter for me. Beautiful dog.
Wow...I hate these hulking ottoman "American Bully" mutts...however, this one looks like my AmStaff girl if you mixed her with a Mastiff and doubled her size, so nonetheless, I have to say, that is one of the best looking Bully breed mixes I've seen in awhile. This guy maybe be totally out of standard for a Pit Bull, but at least he's normal looking and doesn't look like a Dog that has been infused with Hippo DNA. If all "American Bullies" looked this way, I think people would accept them more.

People have to understand there is no confirmation for Pitbulls which is the whole reason for AM staffs...Pitbulls are all shapes and sizes. Sure on average a male pit should be 55-70 lbs, Mine is 70 and taller than average very ripped. My dogs father was 95 lbs although alittle out of shape. Never seen one this big but he doesnt look like an out of shape Bully..There are so many bloodlines out there.

@APBTisBeast Ive been involved with the breed for over 20 years...when you breed the biggest out of the litter constantly you will get bigger dogs...Colby had bigger than average dogs back in the day but would not breed them cause he wanted to keep it consistant..back then the dogs were 30-35 lbs for female and 40-55 for male..there are so many different mixed bloodlines now...I have books dating back to the mid 80's with old pics of pitbulls from the early to mid 1900's..with 70-80 lbs pits..

luckily we can take your word since you are an expert on genetics...or not....Not all mastiffs and mollossars are droopy. There are too many mastiff breeds to count. All mixes arent necesarily 50/50 blends of two dogs either. You can get the size of one breed and then the overall look of another. Just because you dont see the mastiff dosent mean its not there. He a pretty boy......... Don't pay attention to the kids on the site. Yes APBT's have been in the 100lb range for along time now due to selective beefing, yes the preferred weight is much much less but that's for alternate purposes....... Grow up people and welcome to 2010.

Humans r bigger now than they were 100 years ago so why is it so far fetched to think APBTs evolve with time too.... Not to 135 pounds but 70-90 is not that crazy, especially if the dog is as out of shape as this one... I will agree no pitbull should be 90 & over at conditioned weight.

I'm a dog trainer and pitbull owners get mad at me all day when i tell them it's not full pit because of weight, people often confuse the Amer staff, and amer staff bull terrier and pit bull terriers! @MasterOfAllBulls Go do your research on these dogs, not every dog you see is Bandog or Bandogge or a Pitbull Mastiff, all of which are actually recognized by the got damn UKC and a few other Kennel clubs. However if you do your research you will learn that APBT and AMERICAN Staffordshire terrier have the same gene background by 10 generations you can change what a breeds "standard" looks like via selective breeding, ask the APBT ancestor the WOLF. So not every pitbull you see is a mix.

Actually you can, when you breed for size you will get bigger dogs, but for the pitbull you lose gameness which is everything a pit bull is.

luckily we can take your word since you are an expert on genetics...or not....Not all mastiffs and mollossars are droopy. There are too many mastiff breeds to count. All mixes arent necesarily 50/50 blends of two dogs either. You can get the size of one breed and then the overall look of another. Just because you dont see the mastiff dosent mean its not there. Isnt it funny how all of these "genetic freaks" have all popped up in the last 8 or 9 years?
