I first watched this in 2008. I still remember why I loved this couple so much. It must be so heartbreaking for Olli to fall in love with a straight man, and yet live in the same apartment with him and his girlfriend. It seemed like no hope for Olli, but he didn't give in because he knew for sure Christian was the one for him. I really admired Olli for being patient and try his best to earn Christian's love. How brave of him to give it all and fight for his love!

Thank you for uploading this. most importantly I am very happy at their big event they mention my home country for their honeymoon. What a perfect match but it is just a movie, wish I find someone like Olli or Chris. It made me cry and loose patience to find that Mr. Right

This show is very progressive in relation to exploring the romantic relationships between two gay men. I feel in North America is a bit more conservative than Germany around same sex issues. I really like how the writers have shown Christian and Oliver are a couple that just happen to be two men in love. The romance is just great.
Have to say that I think that is truly the greatest love story ever told! I cried buckets of tears at their love, their chemistry, their vows, the proposals.....I only wish that gay couples here in America will one day soon be able to celebrate their love in a church wedding if they so choose! I for one will always support this cause.

Andi is so funny, Helena is so beautiful, and Rebecca needs somebody. And i love Charlie. Did anyone happen to notice the difference between Charlie and Henrietta? Charlie's got blond and Henrietta is brunette. They're typically wearing the same thing, but Henrietta is wearing her darker colors over her lighter colors and Charlie is wearing her lighters over dark. HA! i just had to write that down.
The end was the most special to me because when they are riding in the car we had the most beautiful flashbacks of when they are together letting nothing stand in their way of love and happiness, and the last moments "I love you" "And I do too" they will be together for life I wish them all the happiness god I love this TV couple.
So I have gotten my sister hooked to this show. And by hooked I mean OBSESSED (just like her little bro). LOL Anyway, I told her that we had to watch this part together because of how awesome it is and both her and I were crying because it's so beautiful and perfect. Needless to say we are trying to get everyone else in our family hooked as well. Ughhh... Chrolli is so infectious!

@Ishaluvsu Yes its kind of a ritaul in germany to tie cans to the car when people just married. The cans make alot of noise when they are driving around. Other people will look where the noise comes from. They see the cans and will know that the couple sitting inside the car is just married.
I like the little interactions between the cousins Consti and Rebecca here. He's just what she needs - a big brother figure who likes her even while he's exasperated. Goodness knows her own two brothers are useless to her.
i really love the ending of this episode... chris and olli's flashback of thier relationship even if it is too short and not all the most exciting happenings before it is still so so sweet... i have watched this for more than 10x now

I just hope this would not be the end of their story. I am so inspired, as a gay man, it made me believe that it is possible to have the one you love. It is not important if you are straight or gay, as long as you love each other, that what matters most. The emotions started swelling up when Olliver's mom gave ''The Speech'' which I'm sure, thousands of us would want to hear coming from our parents. The first flashback of Chrolli, the one where they were camping, made the tears fall endlessly. To have witnessed so much since then: the denial, the emotions, the anger, the determination, the love that came to be! Words will never be enough to express the joy of growing up with Christian and Olliver. Thank you Nanna, you made it all possible <3

What Henriette said was so sweet and I was shock and very happy to hear it from her. Wish all Mom's with gay songs were able to do what Oli's mom did too.

Wow! Everyone looked so good and glamorous! Helena, Rebecca, Andi, Henri... and of course the dream couple of newlyweds. Charlie looked good too, but I was expecting something more different from her usual look.
Too bad they couldn't get Gregor, Luise, Stella, Carla, David and Judith. I missed them... they all should have been there.
This is the moment of the series I was truly looking forward to.

@Ishaluvsu Yes its kind of a ritaul in germany to tie cans to the car when people just married. The cans make alot of noise when they are driving around. Other people will look where the noise comes from. They see the cans and will know that the couple sitting inside the car is just married.

sorry but i feel like being totally random here.. 1) they have too many random people at the wedding. 2) why dint they go on a honeymoon.. 3) when n if i ever get married to my bf i wanna add ur my best friend to my wedding vows, dont know, just seemed important to me. 4) did they really went for a hot air balloon ride? i totally want that when n if i ever get married. last but not least 5) the secret answer to contantine's question to lydia: never cheat on ur partner! ever!

Nanna, technically Christian didn't have a choice about where Olli's hand was going to be. It seemed as if Christian was looking at Olli like "oh really" and Olli was shaking his head "yes, perfect." Christian needed Olli's guided touch.

I just hope this would not be the end of their story. I am so inspired, as a gay man, it made me believe that it is possible to have the one you love. It is not important if you are straight or gay, as long as you love each other, that what matters most. Love Thore and JO, two of the greatest actors i've seen, and kudos to the VL theme for this wonderful story. <3

Ahhh! Constantin is tooo cute! Oh my god, the end of this clip was awesome! Loved the flash backs and riding off into the distance. :) Now I'm confused though. I mean, if the boys don't have any drama, their storyline will be pushed into the background. . . But if they do have drama, I'll be sad that they're not deliriously happy all the time. Hmm. :)

The only thing better than seeing the Olli/ Christian story continue is if Thore and Jo both launched into major motion picture stars because of their amazing acting. I'm totally in love with both of them!

I have just re-watched the wedding episodes and I hope one day to have a cheesy, over the top , totally unbelievable wedding. I think this is every gay man's dream or at least it should be. The emotions started swelling up when Olliver's mom gave ''The Speech'' which I'm sure, thousands of us would want to hear coming from our parents. The first flashback of Chrolli, the one where they were camping, made the tears fall endlessly. To have witnessed so much since then: the denial, the emotions, the anger, the determination, the love that came to be! Words will never be enough to express the joy of growing up with Christian and Olliver. Thank you Nanna, you made it all possible <3

@psionycx ATWT may be on the way out partially because of the really bad writing. Like killing Reid for example. When you need to get rid of a character fast that would be the fastest way.
Das Erste has taken the lead and did it for several days during prime time broadcasting to the entire Europe. My hat goes off to them.
