I like the mellow sound you gave the tune, makes it even more nostalgic. I'm not familiar with the Electribe, does it trigger some Instrument-Tracks in your host sequencer or is it just for control in general (volume, effect and the likes), or even combines those things ? Another OMF 2097 fan (and musician) here ;).
mmm....... lead brass isn't great, but I think you did well considering that was your whole point of doing it. The recording is synthtastic and its fairly clear with decent production.
The game had such atmosphere to it that I fail to recall if I have played any other game like this. The robots actually felt as if they were huge, every fighter had an interesting story and I vividly remember reading the README file on the DOS in my 486 box:
"The door opens. The crowd cheers. The game begins."
That's fucking amazing man, I loved the game and still do, wish there was a remake of it. Not the shitty 3D sequel, but like an HD remake just like how there's an HD remake of Street Fighter 2 coming out.
Haha, 7500 visningar! Du är fan mannen

I have an OMF Facebook group; I would be honoured if individuals like yourselves who appreciated the game would join :)

anyone notice his 'piano black' psp model sitting on top his synthesizer unit ?
and bro that does look like the hardest instrument to play... presses 3-4 buttons a minute, intence :).
nowhere near the original but its still awesome in its own right that you did this cover.

How cool can this be? Two of the things I like most, analog synth sound and One Must Fall, together! Awesome work, dude.

Always fun to see another OMF fan like my video :)
I agree with you on the remake part, but i think a true sequel could be pretty awesome as well, as long as they don't mess anything up ;)
Regarding the download... As of now i do not have it for upload, mostly because i don't have anywhere to host it. Hopefully in the future, though ^^

Can't you just upload on Rapidshare or any of those free uploaders?

I think that Shinsepart of 1:50? 2:20 ? is very good-looking.
A good melody is uttered.
I think that it becomes better-looking when the effector is processed
a little.
