This proves nothing. I use a 24" aluminum iMac at school during 8th period for 2 hours straight at my 2nd high school. Our broadcasting & video production class has 25 of them. I use Keynote '09, Pages, iTunes, GarageBand, Safari, Photoshop, etc. all the freaking time. You're showing me things I already know about and use to do my classwork. Once again, this proves nothing.
Also, the new HD resolutions suck. You lose almost 200 pixels which is a few hundred thousand "real" pixels.
I actually have, read an article about it. Yes Google sucks balls right now, but Mac will still dominate that shitty Windows logo in the next few years.
You sir will be eating your own shit, I mean 'words' when Windows get fucking owned. (again)
Windows and OS X are actually comparable now. Apple is the one that fucked up with Snow Leopard. If you don't believe me, take a look at the general outlook on SL at the moment.
Before I begin, thank you for rating down everyone's comments, and AJ's videos, real childish there.
Also this article proves nothing at all? It's nothing more worrying than what Microsoft has to put up with. Because Microsoft are greedy cunts that won't let everyone use Open GL for EVERYONE to play online games, and all they want is ALL of the market share. Plus they want to own everything.
Dude, DirectX > OpenGL, especially for gaming. End of fucking story. Microsoft is on version 11 and SGI is on version 3. That should say something in itself. DX11 has more features and technologies in the entire API set to make things easier for developers and to provide more capabilities. OpenGL is good for medical stuff, and that's about it.
The funny thing is that Windows 7 can use both DirectX and OpenGL to run games. I sadly can't say the same for OS X at all.
Secondly, all my games work fine. I don't need to run anything under compatibility. I just double-click the icon and I'm in-game with no problems. I buy my games off Steam so my credit card gets charged instantly and I get the game instantly with a 5 Mbps download speed or higher. No CD bullshit for me.
Windows is not the reason you need No-Cd Cracks. its the developers choice to put the anti-piracy protection there in the first place idiot. Shut the fuck up retard seriously.
It's called having a joke faggot. Of course it's not quite Microsoft's fault about CD and software piracy to fix these issues. Just seeing what either you or LeodimeII would say.
As you're extremely over passionate about this subject of argument.
You keep saying they suck, but you're not giving me any sort of explanation. I can begin playback of an HD video in a few seconds on my laptop without a problem. All my applications work. I rarely have any problems with anything minus iTunes which is shit for Windows, and VLC which can't play a 1080p video without displaying glitches for me.
HD video works fine for me too. Everything does. iTunes works great as well. So what does that mean? Oh, I can run apps more securely than your virus ridden piece of shit.
Viruses? That's propaganda. I haven't gotten a virus in years because I don't download every unsigned exe on the face of the planet and install IE toolbars. I even did a video on this some time ago where I did a full virus scan on my vista machine and it detected absolutely nothing.
Yes, lets lie about how the fact that there are 14 thousand confirmed viruses for Windows OS is somehow propaganda, but then say "Oh, Macs get viruses" when there are under 1000 viruses in existence for the Mac OS. Oh, and that Dell mini I'm working on? DIED DUE TO VIRUSES.
Dude, the biggest concern that PC users have is their wi-fi getting hacked. Hardly anyone catches viruses anymore, unless it's the big serious ones. If that Dell died from viruses, reinstall with XP pro and be done with it.
Man, Wi-Fi has nothing to do with the OS duuuude...
Maaan... total non-sequitor (and a logical fallacy) along with a red herring in combination with your non-point on human diseases, which I do worry about of course. Of course, irrelevant.
Please spare me the psycho-babble bullshit. You're diverting away from what I said. Of course the wi-fi has nothing to do with the OS, I'm stating the main concern that modern PC users only have to worry about. Maybe back in the turn of the century, viruses was a big concern but it's not like that today, despite however many thousands of viruses pop up.
Let's talk about the bricked Macs that Snow Leopard has caused, the huge list of unsupported applications, and the horrid guest account of death "bug" that ate away hard drive space. Suddenly, Vista SP2 doesn't look so bad.
Yes, all 2% of macs the were upgraded, not preinstalled, with SL. Of course a 32-bit OS has compatibility issues, they all do. I clearly remember Leopard not being totally perfect upon launch. I also remember Cheetah being pretty bad off too. Apple's track record shows that they'll fix the damn thing, and I'll only be using the modern apps on OSX, no legacy apps.
No, it's Apple's fault for rushing Snow Leopard's release to come before Windows 7. They're foaming at the mouth because Microsoft released a good OS that was beta tested by 8,000,000 people who for the most part had all good things to say about it. They were so desperate to divert attention from the release that they even updated a good bit of their lineup when they could've did it ages ago.
My machines have gotten faster thanks to Windows 7. Your Mac(s) may have gotten faster also with Snow Leopard. They're both mainly refinements, but overall there's a speed increase in both. Windows is solid, OS X is solid. There's no argument in that.
I've had my iMac for almost 2 years now, best computer I've bought. Long lasting, apps work great. And if I want to game? I just use bootcamp, and VMware, Windows sucks. But I like my gaming, so I have to grin and bare it.
Oh, I read that article. Most people aren't having issues with the new OS release. I remember a similar release of Leopard. A very small percentage had issues upgrading (which I won't be doing, SL will be preinstalled) and then the problem will be ironed away. Meanwhile, exactly how many people STILL have issues with Vista to this day? Fucking thought so, they are NOT comparable. I love that interview too, "Oh noes, everything are crashing" "REEEEEEEALY?" Grade A fucking journalism there.
Either way, it doesn't matter. The new model has slightly higher specs than our Macs and the new 16:9 LED display. We'll get them eventually, but I'll have long graduated from school by then.
This proves nothing. I use a 24" aluminum iMac at school during 8th period for 2 hours straight at my 2nd high school. Our broadcasting & video production class has 25 of them. Bullshit, it sucks. Games hardly ever work with compatibility. Why do we have to many Crack websites?
People have to CONSTANTLY use 'No-CD' cracks to make their games work. Microsoft is to blame.
OpenGL ftw. Fuck you and your Microsoft bullshit. Admit that Mac is better.

The thing is, they suck. Their OS's fail. XP was okay, but Vista? VISTA? LIKE WOW. Comparing Vista to Tiger is like comparing shit to a diamond.
Snow Leopard is great (as I own it) best upgrade I've done, and my Mac runs almost 3x faster. Windows Upgrades? = No speed improvement at all.
