  • can you do a clip on a steel fan? I love steel fans :)

  • @xskullxkissesx You must mean tessen (usually made with iron) - you might want to search the net for that, because it is Japanese, and the weapons Shihan shows in this series are all Okinawan in origin.

  • @hempev alrighty, will do :)

  • 100% deadly :D

  • ...e sti cazzi?

  • Just want to say thank you ....I've been referencing these videos to learn more about my own kobudo for two years now....time flies eh?

I've taken for granted how long you have made them available and I am truly grateful.

    onagai shimasu!

  • thank you for you message they look so cool and bad i fink i wil have a fun time training with them thx

  • awsome

  • i am geting some of these lol ii do not want to attempt murder .... or maybe lol

  • I threw one of those accidently at a judge at a competition in Denmark. Needless to say no medal for me

  • nice are they gud am geting some???

  • Yeah they are very good for martial arts purposes. One of the more difficult weapons to master. In jujitsu (which I do) they are not a requirement until second dan but i got a headstart on them a few years ago because they are a cool weapon.

  • Oh gosh those weapons look so dangerous.

  • lol

  • omg bankai

  • bunkai not bankai...?

  • Bunkai means analysis, bankai is full release in Bleach or recovery in general.

  • lol two COMPLETELY different things

  • Those kamas are soooo sweet!

  • Great kama kata and bunkai. I want to learn a kama kata and I think I'll start with this one.

  • profe wena onda, me cayo bien.

Do you think that a pair of tonfas will win in a battle against a pair of kamas?

  • Depends on who is the better kobudoka.

  • @hempev so true

  • Generally speaking, the kama would likely win, if only because a long drawn out fight where even a glancing blow would cause bleeding would weaken the tonfa user.

That being said like hempev said, skill would be a very big factor.

  • Well done, very good video, and a good array of techniques are explained.

  • ok a quick question, do people still use these? its like comeing at a person with two knives. isn't that kinda dangerous, even in a masters hands?

  • Yes, they can be dangerous, but since they are common enough for everyday use in backyards and small farms, they are sold in hardware stores across the world. You can keep them razor sharp and still not get in legal trouble.

  • Unless you use them on a person, then you could get in legal trouble.

  • Yes, but that is also true of a broken bottle!

  • I really appreciated this video. I am learning kama and it was a great demonstation of use.

  • Sśiesz pałączka Filip?

  • Sorry, I can only read English.
