To all of the "it's a copy" folks... this ride is known as a Boomerang, a very common coaster in smaller parks as well as some larger ones. A lot of places probably buy them as a smaller-sized thrill ride, which might explain as to why there are so many of them.

They're normally rough as hell, but this one in particular is insanely smooth. Lord only knows why, but whatever they did to it needs to be done to the rest.

My Daddy thinks this is one of the old coasters called "White Lightning" that they took down a long time ago, n' they just painted n' renamed it. I rode it last year, but the wait in line was TOTALLY not worth it. My advice, maybe ride it once, n' if ya like it O.K., but if ya don't, get in line for "The Intimidator" or "Carolina Cyclone".

Yea, from what I have read, there is one of these in every other park.....They are cheap and reliable (for Vekoma).....I think Carowinds got up to date trains on their making it smoother than most. It kind of reminds me of White Lightnin' ....it's not a launch but it goes forwards then backwards with the loop....sort of the same.

I really want to go to Carowinds this summer. Now that they have the Intimidator! And I thought the Goliath at Six Flags Georgia was awesome. Carowinds is getting better hopefully they will add some more big ones like the Intimidator perhaps take down some smaller ones as a result if space is an issue.

There are companies that design and manufacture rides and they sell them to different markets. I don't like Cedar Fair because they bought out Knotts Berry Farm and immediately bulldozed buildings and non-thrill ride attractions that were historical (dating back to the 1920's) and were created by noted artists and their reason was basically "we don't give a shit". This was a historical park with plenty of land and adding thrill rides is cool but its like Disney tearing down the Matterhorn.

Hey this is one girl, who loves this ride. I rode this yesterday with my 8 yr. old, and let me tell you it is FREAKING AWESOME!!! The only part that kinda gets me is the original climb and you are sitting there waiting for the big drop, and then all my gosh, it hits you..I screamed my head off, but I'll the first in line when I go back!
