OK this is a total shot in the dark but anyone who likes this song might be able to help. I am a big fan of 80's first wave and I have on an old mix tape a song that repeats: You are the fallen angel, You are the fallen angel, you are the fallen angel where ever you are, (not sure of the next phrase but sounds like- minute to minute living in exile). Any 80's fans out there have any clues for me? I have been desparate to ID this for years. It has a dance beat, male voice- probably Euro.
There are a few copies on Ebay. I couldn't find any clips online (must be fairly obscure). I went ahead and bought one. Thanks for the info synthpopfan- you are the first one to even try and help at all. Much appreciated. Will post a followup when I get the vinyl in the mail.
I used to see the Wild Swans walking around Liverpool city centre in the 80's. They used to frequent The Armadillo cafe dressed in world war II flying jackets and forties baggy trousers. Paul Simpson looks much different in real life- more stunning, especially his eyes which are vivid blue and very wide. He looks like a French actor. Great vid - takes me back - a Life on Mars moment.
One of the Coolest songs that will forever always be cool! Never get tired of hearing this song, and has so many memories! From having my walkman in High School, to flying in Cessna's 152 in my aviation class, to weekends listening on 1060 KUKQ AM. There will never be another decade like the 80's and the New Wave Era! So much music and the radio stations pumped out for all to hear! We need to build a time machine and make a b line to the 80's!
Trully awesome time in my life. New wave will always be in your system. After 24 years, it all seems just like yesterday. It makes you always feel young and pure again.
I hear you...I still listen to the same music I listened to in the 1980s! Aside from Wolfsheim and a couple of newer synth-pop bands I've found over the last few years my music collection is almost entirely comprised of music from the 1980s.
Gracias por colgar este video. The Wild Swans es una de mis bandas favoritas y "Bible dreams" es en mi opinion, una de las mejores canciones de los 80´s.

It's funny how these english or UK songs were classified as "new wave". It only originated from us pinoys. It's good that we were able to find a word that would classify these brilliant creations by poets with guitars. The trash of R&Bs and the stupid Rap Songs have invaded the airwaves which make feel SICK. If you want to hook up with me text or call me at +639063208118.
