Really to me that is just tap dancing. totally a disgrace to Irish Dance and all his other shows. like what was said below just a show to feed his over-inflated ego.
I love Michael Flatley, don't get me wrong I used to be a huge fan 12 years ago.. But I really think this show is too much Lord of the Dance. They just changed the music a bit and they are still dancing the same steps. So weird no one else notices!!!
@latexpiepbeestje Some of us noticed, and at first was weird.. and I'm not an American nor Irish. It was awsome at the 3rd run, even if purists can be unhappy, but I think being a commercial show they can afford to pay a great tribute to the country which saved a great number of Irish during the famine. Just my 2 RON.
So what if some dancers made a mistake! People make mistakes but it's still pretty awesome!!!! In every performance with this many dancers someone will not quite get it right but as long as they don't fall on their ass and quit, so what!!!!!!!
I LOVE myself some RIVER DANCING!!! When there's a close up of their feet, it kind of reminds me of the way "The King Of Pop" Michael Jackson wears his pants, LOL
It's Flatley for sure! His arrogance, style and talent is there to see. Just older and heavier. He was the Ali of dance! A total big head that happened to deliver an incredible performance every time. Brilliant! As he wouldl tell you himself.
На мой взгляд в этом шоу более традиционные заурядные костюмы...всё-таки с программой Lord of the Dance ничто не сравнится!)) Там такие костюмы,столько красок на сцене,ощущение сказки...музычка здесь тоже пусть и с элементами фолк-рока,но тоже как-то ближе к национальной музыке,которая малёха скучновата,и гаммы какие-то мультяшно-патриотические))) А здесь всё как-то более по-классически чтоли...нет,тем не менее это крутое шоу,я ничего не говорю,правда!!)) Но "Властелин танца" круче полюбой!)
Watching this is just so awsome, I mean to be able to move like that, walking on air is just so coool. Lord of the Dance and Riverdance are an amazing group of people.
If you guys don't like Michael Flatley why are you watching him? It's always easy to be a critic.
