Good music is good music, no matter what format you want to call it. Take off the blinders & just enjoy music. When you try to fit something into a nitche, you've already cheated yourself out of just getting into what it is. FYI: Jason Bomham is John Bonhams' Led Zeppelin drummer) son. Joe Bonamassa has several Cd's out there so there's plenty to get into. Joe is good, but the he asked the great George Martin for some pointers, which did great things for Joes' craft.
i did not know shit about any of the guys in this band . but i love b c c . i hope this band goes on and on and on. no time for solo guys, i need more b c c .
I don't know if this is metal, but it certainly is ass kicking old school bluesy hard rock, Glenn Hughes is incredible. Thank god for some real rock 'n roll.... and I agree that chorus is amazing.
@MarinaBradleyBitch It's about a rocker in his 60's singing BETTER than anyone out there young than him. THERE IS NO BETTER SINGER OUT THERE TODAY THEN gLENN Hughs!!!!
@bludgeonedPROD its styled after old hard rock and metal.Ever listen to old black sabbath, Ritchie Blackmore, scorpions or even old michal schenker ufo that was all metal and hard rock back then still and is ? these guy's are similar so that's why they were on that metal show.
@bludgeonedPROD I know! That Metal Show is what brought me here...and I was asking myself the exact same thing. Especially considering they voted this the best new metal band!
@MrJohntube12 your saying joe's a wanker oh yeah because you know him in person dont you FUCK WIT i think the real wanker here is you 100%. i think you might be a bit jealous because if you play guitar your probably shit house or you dont even play guitar so you dont even try. This was joe's goal to be a guitarist for his job where do you work probably at mcdonalds.
Not to mention that Def Leppard was like on top of the world for so long. Don't you think there was a reason for that? I do. Catchy lyrics, good guitar licks, high ranged vocalist, rocking drums. Oh shit, I just described rock and roll.
@Guitarzan94 totally agree, and Def Leppard didn't got to be on top because they were lucky to get a music contract from a Record Company, in the contrary they arised from a small and forgotten town in England, around 1978 when heavy metal didn't even exist, they started from scratch really creating music, they were not a record company fashionated product, they paid off to be on top, and they are the dream of every garage band, an example of discipline, devotion to music, and brotherhood
...so for all those kids that talk too much but have not experience much, I recommend you to listen to more music before you talk, and stop just reading stupid commercial magazines, if you want to talk about musicians read more, and listen more, show some respect
@GoEagles35 Eddie trunk sucks and if you wanna kiss his ass go on that metal show and do that not here! here we listen to music and by the way( that metal show) is fucking lame.
amazing talent !! Serious egos ;) I lIke it though !! I heard about this band on "That Metal Show" I didnt even know these guys were doing this,, I DIG it !!!
@ZaneAffixation well first off, dont call people who like metal, metalheads. this isnt country where they call themselves country boys. why the fuck should i show respect for them? most metal fans dont even consider hair metal as metal. def leppard played the same generic music as other bands of the same genre to become famous. theyre more pop than metal. the singing is annoying, the guitars are simple, and so is their drumming if someone with one arm can play it.
@ZaneAffixation he is right though, def leppard isn't really metal. If you look at a lot of the other metal that was around during that time then bands like def leppard, poison, ratt, warrant, etc would all be considered more rock-pop. I would consider david lee roth era van halen, motley crue and dokken, to be more metal because the riffs are heavier, more complex, the drumming doesn't sound electronic, the keyboards don't dominate and the bass can actually be heard
@EpictheEpicest Have you actually listened to all Def Leppard records and not only Hysteria and later records?, Pyromania, High'n Dry show they were not a rock-pop band, if you would really take your time to hear their music before throwing generalized comments you would realize all those bands you mentioned (with the exception of Poison) were rock metal bands, they just took advantage of the glam metal fever, Motley Crue may have had a Shout at the Devil, but Ratt also had Out of the Cellar

@EpictheEpicest buddy, take the time to listen (here in youtube) to Def Leppard's High'n Dry or Pyromania record, at least 5 or 6 songs, and then come back and tell me about Def Leppard's rock-pop metal, ok?
@grungerobotnow First of all they were never generic, since they were the first to play "that kind of music", the guitars may be simple but their sound is amazing, and reaching that kind of sound and performance live is not "simple" at all!!!, Def Leppard is not only a symbol of real teamworking but music devotion, and only if you can do better than them you shall refer to them as simple, yeah show some respect pal
@rfd73 "that kind of music" is called hair metal. it is the laughing stock of the musical world. a bands live sound isnt related to how complicated or musical their songs are.
@rfd73 "that kind of music" is called hair metal. it is the laughing stock of the musical world. a bands live sound isnt related to how complicated or musical their songs are.
@grungerobotnow did you know that actually Def Leppard existed before 1982 and they were already playing in front of 40000 people and touring around Europe and United States? that was about 4 or 5 years before the wave of the Hair Metal bands showed up (Skid Row, Warrant, Slaughter, White Lion, etc) and the term "hair metal" given by stupid and mostly commercial Magazines such as "Rolling Stones" would be heard for the first time, so ...
...did you invented the term "hair metal"? or you just read it in that magazine I mentioned? are you a musician? or you just watched too much Beavis and Butthead
@ZaneAffixation totally agree with you, these kids of today only read what a shity and commercial magazine like "Rolling Stone" has to say about music, therefore they didn't actually lived the music as we did, without aggresive TV, or reading media telling you what is good or bad music, but really listening to good musicians,
@rfd73 Very biased view ya got there , I'm 17 and have never bought a copy of Rolling Stone , or anything like that... at least be able to back up your comment
THEY JUST DON'T MAKE EM TODAY LIKE THEY USED TO PEOPLE. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL! Glenn Hughes is either the best or tied with the best all time hard rock vocalists of all time. That includes Plant, Gillan, Dio, Dickinson, Halford, etc. All of whom I love. However Glenn can sing exactly the same now as he did 40 years ago. From Deep Purple, to Trapeze, to Hughes & Thrall to F.U.N.K (First Underground Nuclear Kitchen) to Black Country Communion. There is no one better. The guy is an immortal god!
DAMN! That was a great show, tonight in Copenhagen!!! I can't hear anything right now. THANK YOU BCC, WE LOVE YA!!! FOR SURE ODIN AND THOR, HEARD IT TOO.
HEY 211,218 VIEWERS!!! GO OUT AND BUY THIS ALBUM. so BCC and good rock will be leading charts at radio and music networks again.. it´s not only like it. it´s help to the cause!!!
Great great band!!! It's only mainstream stuff, they play on the radio or on MTV, they just want to satisfy the youngsters I guess. Bonamassa and the guys will never go mainstream, thats probably why they're not on there. But I wish they would be... I just can't stand no more pop and r'n'b. BCC, YOU ROCK, SEEYOU IN COPENHAGEN!!!
@DennisTheDane Hey Dennis - I'm a Dane too and I have just found out that the band exist because of a poster at the other side of Tivoli. I been a Led Zeppelin fan for 20 years so founding out that Jason Bonham has played with other great musicians for so long time comes as a shook. - VI SES I KB HALLEN ;-) ;-) ;-)
to tell you the truth i am glad glenn has mixed with the likes of bonamassa et al. im a huge hughes fan and it is great to hear him sound this fresh. all 4 guys from this so called supergroup are simply great musicians and together they show a lot of chemistry. let's not overstate the truth, this is not the return of blues rock, just a few pros with their charismatic swagger
All I can say is WOW! Classic, hook laden hard rock with virtuoso musicianship. Glenn at 58 blows away most every 20-something rock wannabe today. Love the scream at 2:46. Chills up the spine....
Great song that almost nobody will hear because the band members aren't 20 years old. There's good musical taste and open minds in America, unfortunately it's only present in about 1% of the population.
Damn good record, i've always been a Glenn Hughes fan from his Deep Purple days and I saw Joe Bonamassa when he was just starting out, he was the opening act for Lynyrd Skynyrd at the Beacon Theater in NYC, back in 2001.
That Metal Show rules! A lot of people love to bust on Eddie Trunk, but he has exposed me to a lot of great music that I would not have ever probably heard if it wasn't for Eddie. Terrestrial "rock" radio would never play this song and they've managed to destroy great songs like "Rock and Roll All Night", "Pour Some Sugar On Me", "Crazy Train" and countless others that I once loved and now turn the channel every time I hear them.
@GoEagles35 I know what you mean. Regular radio also ruined "School's Out", "Smoke On The Water", "Walk This Way", "Sweet Emotion", "Stairway To Heaven", I mean, these are all tracks that everyone knows because they're so over played. Eddie Trunk is one of my music heros. Because of him, "Mob Rules" by Black Sabbath is one of my all time favorite albums.
I am a big Joe Bonamassa fan and saw Glenn Hughs on That Metal Show today,so I think I will go buy this this week!Awesome music.I am so sick of all the crap on the radio, this should get radio play!!!
I heard about this band this morining while watching "That Metal Show" where Glenn Hughes was praised by Eddie Trunk for his work w/ this band....Great Sound. I became a fan after two songs. Glenn is still amazing after all these years.
@trevLV It is a conspiracy to avoid a real expression...
I know it has nothing to do with this, but watch the video:
michael jackson saidsony kills music
and his talking about conspiracies,he started to open his mouth and they erased him, well,he is not rock and roll but a band like this would sell as hell 20,30 years ago, today it is some random video we have the luck to find on youtube, that new band from tony macalpine and virgil donati is great too, they have the same problem
@trevLV well, you can start by supporting the artist by messaging the guy who posted this video and asking him to put a link to BCC's official YouTube "bccommunion" and subscribing
This is what i call REAL ROCK ! Guys that know how it should be played ! proper musicians

All I can say is WOW! Classic, hook laden hard rock with virtuoso musicianship. Glenn at 58 blows away most every 20-something rock wannabe today. Love the scream at 2:46. Chills up the spine....

Awesome track, I just kept replaying this song over and over while driving my car.

Great song that almost nobody will hear because the band members aren't 20 years old. There's good musical taste and open minds in America, unfortunately it's only present in about 1% of the population.

i'm happy that these guys are playing real rock and roll these days. Great album!

Damn good record, i've always been a Glenn Hughes fan from his Deep Purple days and I saw Joe Bonamassa when he was just starting out, he was the opening act for Lynyrd Skynyrd at the Beacon Theater in NYC, back in 2001.

Proof that TMS is a vital resource for exposing the rock community to great new music!
This band should be headlining arenas!

Great song BTW! :)

It is such a shame how thge music industry has just turned its back on great rock bands.....This album should be ALL OVER the freakin radio...
trevLV 1 year ago 77
@trevLV It is a conspiracy to avoid a real expression...
I know it has nothing to do with this, but watch the video:
michael jackson saidsony kills music
and his talking about conspiracies,he started to open his mouth and they erased him, well,he is not rock and roll but a band like this would sell as hell 20,30 years ago, today it is some random video we have the luck to find on youtube, that new band from tony macalpine and virgil donati is great too, they have the same problem
GabrielDhalaman 9 months ago
@trevLV well, you can start by supporting the artist by messaging the guy who posted this video and asking him to put a link to BCC's official YouTube "bccommunion" and subscribing
