i really loved his performance, but i met him 3 times after the show and the first time i thought he was pretty nice just shy, but the second two he was a total jerk. it makes me sad because it kind of dims his performace in my memory. he already has a big head. the rest of the cast were total sweeties though.
show; so if I'm short, I apologize. I'll try as hard as I can if you can be understanding that I just left my
heart and soul (and, on some nights, my larynx) on the stage. But as tired as I am I do want to meet you.

This role (for the show Im rehearsing right now) is rougher than I thought. Not that I thought it was going to be easy- Im certainly foolish but not that foolish- but I had not accounted for the state I am required to
be in through the majority of the show: emotionally fractured, seemingly hopeless, and in mental preparation to die. I also didn't account for the difficulty of rehearsing in such a state. Here I am fully committed to the reality of a life-or-death scene... and then a 10 minute break is called and I have to talk myself down from my almost-suicidal state only to have to reinvest in the scene moments later. Emotional rollercoaster? Si.
thanks for posting that...that makes me feel a little bit better. i just dont understand why the rest of the cast is ok. maybe he's just not as mentally tough as the rest of them. roger is a really complex role so, i'll cut him some slack...and try hard to remember the first time i saw him and not the others!
Roger is probally the most complex role. and while other rogers may not get into the role and put themselves compleatly in it, bryce does, and that makes me love and respect him a whole bunch more. he's really humble too. i would go on that link i sent you and read all his blogs. it made me love him so much more.
Not to mention extremely nice! I told him that I was a big roger fan and that I had the same b-day as adam (which i really do, october 25) and he's like, oh that's great! Tracy's obviously the only smart person here, tee-hee. I love Tracy, I was the last person to catch her for an autograph and say hi after the show before she left. My fave Maureen after Dee!!
hmm Matthew must be the standby... I can't imagine seeing anyone other than bryce in this cast... did you see arianda?? or did you get the oppertunity to see the AMAZING Jen Talton?
haha join the club. Jen Talton her standby is amazing. she's my favorite ever. Arianda sounds okay some days and others she sounds horrible. but on her side, she is really cute! haha
wow! he was amazing as woof in hair, he does a pretty great roger

I think bryce is ok
but Tim Howar is the best roger hands down

not whiny nor to broadway like alot of other roger's

Got Matthew something. And he was awesome. Too Broadway, not enough rock and roll. But had all the passion.
