I'd like to know because I don't understand why you should say such when Texas has the greatest economy and one of the largest middle class (per capita) in the States. And you said that Texas ranks '49th in education'. If you're going by what the US government is saying, I'm....just not going to go there. The US department of education, what a flop that was.

Perry wont debate because he wants White to release his tax returns (while he was in office in houston) to the public. White refused to do so by the time Perry alloted him. Therefore, Perry refuses to debate.

Neither candidate is an angel. Rick Perry is a crook and makes deals and money behind closed doors. Bill White obviously has some finacial means he doesnt want the public to know about (or hed release his tax returns). But at least he reports it to the government.

He already released his tax returns. He released it in March and then all of them in June. Perry has been a disaster for our state and I wish him the worst on the way out!

@thegirlsroomllc Bill White did release detailed tax returns while he was mayor. There were already disclosure forms of his tax returns before he released more detailed ones. But that wasn't good enough for Perry because than he said where is his 1990 returns before he was mayor. These tax returns is just a smoke screen because Perry doesn't want to debate Bill White. Perry knows it would hurt him politically to debate Bill White. Perry would have to answer questions he doesn't want to answer.

Which White disclosed in March and then the rest in June....still no debate from Perry with more than enough months to go after that.... Like I said he does not want to been seen as the bad guy he is...plain and simple. We have a huge deficit in our state and and is using tax payer dollars on a high priced rental mansion.... oh did I mention that our state ranks 49th in education in the country? BUT big business profits like crazy and workers suffer....hmmm...wonder why.

Ok, I do apologize as I did made a mistake there; White did release his income records, however he has not released his income taxes from his years as deputy U.S. energy secretary and that is what Perry is calling him out on and to present these documents. The mansion? Return it, and I mean it...that really sucks and I am not even going to try to defend or dodge that one lol. Oh and half of our state debt can be erased with our rainy day fund, which is about 9 billion.

Businessman or not, being heard on issues prior to any debate gives the opponent time to build a defense. You are obviously a politician who sees this and will not divulge your plans on HOW you are going to help TX with it's $18 Billion deficit. Sooner or later you will have to let us know how you plan to do the impossible..fine BP? Create an on-shore drilling tax?? Legalize MJ??? I would love to see a business plan,soon. Until I do, I see you as just another Politician, all talk, no answers.
