  • and they are all fucken fast ass fuck

  • actually the best out of the class of 2008 is right now Hakeem Nicks for the Giants, but then again he has a good QB. Maclin has two good QB's but is limited to catches because of deshawn Jackson, Crabtree is the most talented of all these WR's but doesn't have a qB in alex smith.

  • Crabtree is the safest bet as he's the most polished. Best hands. Best route runner. But he doesn't have elite speed, so his upside has limits.

Maclin is a bit of both. He's not as polished as Crabtree, but he's faster.

Heyward Bey is the biggest risk, but by far the biggest upside. He's 6'2, 220, with 4.25 speed.

He could end up like Terrell Owens with the right coaching

  • @MrCeej9999 Jerry Rice wasnt the fastest...hes a hall of famer :)

  • @MrCeej9999 dude you were right on....

  • these are some bad highlights if your trying to find the best wr's out of this ..its basically all short passes no playmaking places there are so much more an better highlights of each one of these guys then these short completions try adding some difficult passes or tough situation types of passes that they each had exploded from

  • some develop before others and some will take a bit like DHB im pretty sure hes gonna be good as soon as he accustoms to NFL Adrenaline

  • amazing video

  • They got it right. They were the 4 best receivers in the draft, but some others like Nix, Britt, & Wallace had impact rookie campaigns

  • haha three seasons and heyward will be out of the league

  • in 3 years HeyWard-bey will be the best out of them all.

  • DHB

  • stop puttin this rock n roll stuff on

  • Nice video.

  • maclin kinda runs like ted griffin jr.

  • who da hell is TED GRIFFIN JR

do u mean TED GINN JR

  • I cant believe that of all of them we picked the worst one.

  • all these guy have fuck up numbers 12,15,18 come on what happen to wr wearing numbers in the 80's

  • @Nnamdi21 the numbers for WR are 10-19 80-89 the only WR to wear a diffrent number that i know is devin "ma boy" hester

  • @trevor18hi still dont like the wr wearing number in the teens. and hester #23 need to go. awful number for a wr 23 it need to go asap.

  • @Nnamdi21 hes only 23 cause he waz a corner but switched to wr

  • first off, wide receivers have been wearing whatever number they want in college for quite sometime, and second off, none of them wear any of those numbers..... O.o

  • @jmrut1992 1. Heyward-bey and Harvin wear number 12 and Crabtree wear 15 look it up. 2. those are college number they should wear a real number not a qb number

  • that makes sense, i thought you were talking about their college numbers, but personally i wish players just wore whatever number they liked the best

  • receivers wear low numbers and numbers in the 80s dumbass

  • i know they do dumb fuck. im say that traditionally that 10-19 are qb numbers. and that the traditional WR wore number in the 80s. and hester 23 is just insane for a wr.

  • its just a number dude

  • @Nnamdi21

thats cuz Hester was originally a def. back and was converted to wr

  • Too bad Heyward-beys the biggest bust this year. maybe if jamarcus suckass wasnt qb he'd be better.

  • Even then he has terrible hands. his route running can be coached, but hands are something you either have or don't

  • True dat

  • @mybloodzgreen328 haha hands can be coached the only thing that cant be coached is speed u can get hands but learning how to grab the ball u can get power bye working out vision is somthing u pratice every day but there is something i can agree with u is u CANT teach GREAT HANDS OR GREAT VISION THAT ONLY COMES WITH THE PLAYER

  • Running backs or tight ends can be taught how to improve their catching. For receivers, whose only job is to catch the football, it must come automatically. Catching is the starting block for everything receivers do. That's why it must be learned at a very young age in pee-wee football, so that the players can focus on tuning other parts of their game, like fluid route running, catching in traffic, and working on the mechanics. Coaches don't waste time trying to teach receivers how to catch.

  • of course all of those players are black

  • duh

  • DEZ by FAR

  • What bout' Dez Bryant Oklahoma State?

  • he is going to be the best reciever when his draft year

  • As much as i hate osu, I have to agree with you.

  • seeing Heyward-Bey play at Maryland was insane..the kid was incredible..not saying he is the best but... talk about a play maker

  • too many replays

  • DHB shoulda been the fourth wideout taken in the draft, but al davis is a fuckin idiot

  • crabtree needs to stop bein a bitch and sign

  • this is true

  • ahhaa fo realsss

  • who gives a flying fuck. he would be making mills anyways...

  • @jmeyerhead i know eh im loosing my respect for him

  • It's either Crabtree or Maclin

  • dez4prez!! desmond bryant all the way

  • the fuck u talking bout

  • wtf is up wit da music

  • um finally something that isnt played out hip-hop

  • 1. percy harvin

    2. crabtree

    3. heyward-bey

    4. maclin

  • 1.Crabtree (Super Great hands)

    2.Maclin (Hands and some speed)

    3.Harvin (Speed)

    4.Heyward Bey (Speed)

  • @NightmareTeeVee bey sucks, most likey because he's on the RAIDERS, where WRS careers die.............

  • @writertrump Thats what im telling this kid in my class who for some reason like Oakland. I keep telling him his team is a garbage dump but I like Miami we are ok i guess. At Least we got rid of Ginn. I only liked him on Fly routes & Returns.

  • Comment removed

  • @writertrump I feel bad for Asomugha. Hes so fuckin great but he aint getting more noticed until he leaves Chokeland. Ill always put winning over money.

  • @NightmareTeeVee HAHA.. That's so wrong

  • 1. harvin

    2.crabtree

    3.maclin

    4.dhb

  • harvin is the best

  • heyward beys the best

  • umm one of the worst highlights put together very disapointed

  • agree

  • all of Heyward-bey's stuff is against Delaware...

    isnt Delaware a D2 team?

  • Percy Harvin and DHB are the best out of this group

  • Comment removed

  • dhb we be the best out of the bunch trust me

  • hell all of crabtree's highlights in this video came from one game. The other two are form the entire season. Crab had a lot of other good plays, but you watch this and it makes them look comparable.

and besides that everyone keeps showing highlights of maclin on returns. Yes he is talented, but the return game has nothing to do with being a receiver. Totally diff positions. Thats like saying devin hester is one of the top receivers in the NFL lame !!!

  • good thing oak didn't draft crabtree. he won't get the contract he wants. what a joke

  • ur a joke

  • These wide outs are nothing without their quarterbacks. The quarterbacks are nothing without their offensive line. It all comes down to the boys in the trenches.

  • well said

  • we cant just assume who is the best because the season hasnt started so everyone needs to stop talking shit about rookies because there could be a 7th round draft pick that is a future hall of famer we dont know, lets let the play do the talking all 4 of these guys are going to be fun to watch in the NFL

  • @IIDivineShadowII well he could of just been talking about just from the best that came out of college that year not really on there nfl status

  • There's a lot better highlights of all these guys than in this video. Still, Harvin is definitely the most explosive.

  • Macklin, Crabtree and Heyward-Bay = good players against avg defenses...

Percy Harvin= great player against top defenses

    NO CONTEST IMHO....

    Percy is the f'n man!!!!

  • Percy was also on an elite team, Bey was on on a very average team, he will be the sleeping giant.

  • Really? Maclin and Crabtree played against plenty of good defenses in the Big XII south. While Percy is definatly one of the best, dont discredit these people.

  • everyone crabtree's agent said that they are not threatening the 49ers they are negotiating the deal crabtrees stupid advisor went out and said that he will miss time BUT thats not actually gonna happen everyone is blowing shit out of proportion he will be a 49er soon

  • harvin the best reciever there was in the past couple years

  • Judging by these highlights, i'd have to give the edge to Percy Harvin by default. I didn't think any of these highlights captured Crabtree, Harvin, Maclin or Heyward-Bey at their best.

  • i know right... didnt show many WR highlights. alot of the highlights were handoffs, special teams, just wide open bombs with blown coverages ect....

  • not with maclin, the dude outruns em all, and has some good size and he is kinda strong.

  • paercy harvin is the most explosive/agile out of the group. dude has RB slashing skills when ball in his hand.

  • I wish I could give you 100 thumbs up for this comment.

But fear not, pre-season starts SOON!

I can't wait for the season to start, then we will see what these guys can really do.

IMO, Macklin has the best chance of all these guys to put up good numbers.

  • you see whats goin on with this idiot crabtree??? fuckn holding out saying he will sitout the entire season and re-enter the draft next year... what piece of shit. if anything take what they give you and talk to your GM, owner, agent about a better deal AFTER you have a BREAKOUT YEAR

  • Yeah I seen that. Seriously, who the hell does he think he is? It's not like he has proven ability at the pro level.

I would just stop all negotiations and leave his dumb ass sit at home.

  • thats retarded the 49ers probably want to sign him to a long term deal for say 6 years 32 million guaranteed making 5.3 million a year if he has a breakout year he knows the 49ers dont have to pay him more look at anquan boldin breakout year no more money if crabtree gets injurded what will he fall back on he wants more guaranteed say 4 years 25 million making 6.2 not that big of a difference in the money but two huge different scenarios

  • Yeah i hear you... just doesnt look good one the player. especially since he hasnt came in to camp. shoulda went to camp and just kept negotiating till a deal was met

  • Troy Williamson and DHB are the same sizw, bout same speed though DHB is a little bit faster, and both are better at athletes than football players.

  • DHB is bigger 6'2 215, Williamson is 6'1 203. And DHB is faster.

  • but unlike harvin, maclin, and crabtree, heyward-bey didnt have an all-star at QB. Plus he didnt play in a pass happy spread like texas tech and missouri. Harvin is his own beast

  • u cant compare that midget williamson with DHB size and speed kill in the NFL homie isn't a race car that needs to accelerate her and there once he catches the the ball he's gone . working against our D will get him ready . Crabtree is all hype primadonna he's another one of those run and shoot type route runners that is what hurt him and his speed is an issue in the NFL everyone flies you need real speed his ankle is a problem also it's more then they're saying

  • 831avila, you can't talk for shit. Take some english lessons so i can understand WTF your trying to say.

  • hey tysonoboyoboy,

why dont u just watch highlights of DHB vs. Miami in 06'....watch him get pressed in man coverage, ...watch him shed, and watch him run past cornerbacks and house TD's...and miami was one of the top defenses in the country in 06. don't try to fry DHB when he's nasty good

  • but that's one game in one year. I am telling you that his conferece rarely uses man coverage. He isn't accustomed, yet, to being in man to man for more than half the game. Maybe if he trains with Asomugha, he'll progess in those skills quickly. Otherwise, that speed won't do him any good. Even if he's against Al Harris.

  • they're all pretty much the same overall, and they all have things they arent great at, crabtree isnt as fast as the others, maclin and harvin arent as durable as the others, and heyward-bay dosnt catch as well as the others

  • & WIth 10th pick The San Fransisco 49ers Select Michael Crabtree ! #15 will be future NFL ROOKIE OF THE YEAR !!

  • crabtree!!

  • percy has the most rings

come to think of it, hes the only one with any

  • Darrius Heyward-Bey,will do his thing even wit 2 guyz on him cause they'll leave Higgins da punt return King open,or Walker or Murphy,or oh and we cant 4get McFabbulus,Dmac will do his thing 4sho, better then Petterson without a O-line.lol

  • What do you mean? Heyward-bey didn't even play in man coverage more than 4 times a game. In the NFL, he's gonna get raped because he barely has had a CB run with him, jostle him, or press him at the line. When he goes up against man coverage, he's gonna suck. Just telling the truth. DHB's conference barely ran man coverage so their WRs usually come into the NFL unequipped with experience in Man to Man or press coverage.

  • That's fine, he'll get experience playing against the best Man to Man corner in the league everyday in practice.

  • maclin

  • heyward BEY

  • MACLIN BABY!!!!!!!!!

  • # 18 EAGLES

  • heyward- bey was amazing he by far is the best

  • Agreed, he looked great against Delaware!

  • sick

  • I wish them all the best and their teams. Tired of the Crab/DHB hate. We both got what we wanted.

  • number 1 wr reciver percy harvin

  • #18 Maclin

  • No hate on Harvin at all, i wish him well...but we needed a much taller presence and Higgins receiving roll needs to be limited, because he is a leet return man. 3-4 returns in 2 years with some called back, not to mention the 3 in preseason.

  • Im not worried about who will have better stats their rookie year...i doubt by far it will be DHB, but what he can do stretching the field no other WR could. It's sounding like Chaz is working his ass off right now and will become the #1 WR within the year. That is good news, because they are calling him the most sure hands on the team with miller...o ya, and hes taller, faster, and can jump way higher than crabtree. Oak div champs with a win on MNF.

  • I could see Maclin in his first year being the most successfull of the four simply because he's in an offense that has alot of players that will be getting alot of attention so that'll open up him to make some more big plays. But in terms of who will have the best career I'll answer that probably five years from now.

  • Well yeah.. the question will be answered by itself in five years.

  • Comment removed

  • madvet...u got your shit straight...good shit...i hav been sayin the same shit to all the haters....and oneal is bout to be hell of raw learnin from one of the greatests...[lorenzo neal]

  • i think all 4 of them well do great in the nfl.

  • Im tired of the no hands comments. IDK how many times i have to post this all over. DHB 4 drops from a below average QB. Crabby had 6. Ones ran a 4.23?!?! I couldn't care less if the cryer across the bay does end up having better stats. Adding another safety over the top is going to let Oneal plow the way for DMC and Bush. And zach miller more catches? Please he is a top 5 TE already and not many ppl know of him. O ya, and when they stack the box...73 yrds to DHB!

  • Heyward Bey is going to be stellar in the NFL. He has the hands, the size, the moves and most of all he has the speed.

Great move Oakland. Way to scout.

  • crabtree overated his conference has the worst dbs. the one game he played against an SEC team he was a non factor

  • he was a non factor in the OU game as well, he got the holy living hell beat out of him in that game, imagine the beating he will receive in the NFL.

  • crabtree is a bust

harvin gonna complment adrian well and mabe sum kick returrning.

heyward bey gonna do ok just launch and let him go get it.lol

maclin idk but not a bust.

  • Al davis made the right pick, he wanted speed...he's got it heyward-bey is going to wow the nfl.

Maclin will do well because he will have the best Qb throwing to him out of this group

    Harvin will be ok

Crabtree is overated he will be the bust

  • i say harvin cause he has the hands, speed, and the "no fear" approach sometimes. he will run straight at you...unlike the rest. maclin has good speed and ok hands and thats about it. hayward-bey and crabtree and both slow but with good hands...they won't be fast enough for the NFL

  • Um, Heward-Bey was the fastest person in the draft (4.3/40 combine). What have you been smoking, seriously? He's not slow and Harvin is not better or faster than him.

  • Harvin may not be faster than him, but he is better than him.

  • Lol heyward-bey is the fastest out of all of them, thats why the raiders took him instead of crabtree

  • The raider's whole draft sucked. They took many players that were predicted to get drafted in later rounds. All of the players that they picked had speed, but not much else. The raiders focused more on speed than overally technique and skills. That's why they're gonna suck this year again. The only way they are gonna start putting points up in the passing game is if JaMarcus can connect with Heyward-bey on the deep ball. Even JRock shouldn't be able to overthrow Heyward-bey. He runs a 4.30 forty

  • But they shouldn't have. Heyward-bey has had problems with his catching in the past. The raiders went for speed instead of fundementals like they did in the rest of the draft. They wanted a playmaker but Crabtree is another kind of playmaker but better. If Heyward-bey becomes the kind of playmaker Oakland wants by using his speed, that head-scratching pick will have paid off. If not, "Why didn't we pick Crabtree???!!!"

  • Heyward-bey will be the next Troy Williamson

  • ??? And that would mean...

  • a low-caliber reciever that was a suprise #7 overall pick because of his combine speed that will end up as a huge bust, that's what that means

  • OHHH. Maybe, maybe not. Who am I to say so. Speed helps alot but the only problem is, his acceleration is annoyingly slow. He is fast, don't get me wrong, but he definatly needs a good 3-5 steps to get to that blazing speed of his. After he breaks a tackle, if a safety is flying down the field at an angle, Heyward-bey doesn't usually have that quick burst to stretch that angle. But before someone says, "But he was the fastest at the combine!" I AM TALKING ABOUT HIS ACCELERATION.

  • I know what you are talking about, but the similarities are crazy. Both taken 7th overall, both had their draft stock shoot way up because of their 40 times, and from what I hear, both had hands issues. And if he has slow acceleration then that gives him even less of a shot.

  • I don't know, but I never saw anything that told me "You know, Crabtree is a great player!" Nothing grabbed me like that at all, I mean sure he had that unbelievable play against Texas, But that's not going to help him in the NFL, He looks slow on tape, and sure he can catch but so can everyone else, Plus he's in San Francisco, he doesn't stand a chance with those hippie sons of bitches. I'm thinking a bust.

  • crabtree then ty between harvin and maclin then bey

  • i say crabtree

  • CrabTree is the best too bad he was destined for the Bay area Thats career suicide

  • Haha Eagles524 you are right. Harvin Is going to be a bust to the max. Maclin on the otherhand is going to be one of the best in the NFL.

  • Harvin is goin to be a bust.

  • harvin benches 450..and he also runs a 4.3..thats not a bust..

  • btchr17, Ever here him, he's got a horrible attitude, reminds me or TO and "Ocho Cinco" or whatever the fuck his name is these days. They're good, but I like neither of them, and they are both Team Killers, If Harvin doesn't step it up and be a man, he'll end up just like them, and no one like them.

  • harvin a team killer? i dont remember hearing anything bad about him when he was at florida he might not be a team leader or anything but for sure not a team killer

  • Harvin did not run a 4.3 in the combine, he ran a 4.41.

  • hhaha? well he;s run a 4.3..i live here in g-ville so word gets around.

  • He also was still recovering from a pretty significant foot injury.

  • oh yah an crabtree an macline arre kinda equal in thi but there cutting ability is phenomonal

  • yal really cant faget hakeem nicks n maclin is return/powerful too

  • crabtree had best routes. maclin best returner. heward-bey fastest.. harvin most all around player

  • I thin maclin can be much better then just a retuner

he has good size, and has great speed.

  • look out.......Adrian Peterson and Percy Harvin on the same field??? SCARY!!! now add a threat at the QB position in Favre.......OMG!!

  • I promise you FAVRE is NOT returning again, id bet my house, car on it.

  • Evolution10X has gay porn on his computer.

  • yeah you would know because you were wacking off to it LOL. Bye "virgin" hahahahahah!!!!

  • Gross, a virgin. Go get laid virgin.

  • 2 spread offenses, 1 gimmick offense, and 1 pro offense

    winner: darrius heyward-bey

  • i just hope al davis "knows" what he's doin haha go raiders, go niners !

  • wat about hakeem nicks?

  • Fuck all u haters Maclin in now the best because he plays for the Eagles ..and al davis is dumb as shit and hes gonna be wishin he took maclin or crabtree 5 years from now...

  • Harvin = Steve Smith

    DHB = Troy Bust Williamson

    Crabtree = Chad Ocho Cinco

    Maclin = Joey Galloway

  • Crabtree= Rashaun Woods, another 49ers bust at receiver

Harvin= Bust just like everyone else that comes out of florida

Maclin= hes not Joey Galloway with a 4.46 40, Galloway ran a 4.22 when he came out of college

DHB= he should be good but will be scrutinized for the slot he was taken in.

All these revievers suck balls. this whole draft was garbage.

  • There is a huge difference between timed speed & football speed. Maclin has that Joey Galloway seperation speed when he's on the field. I see that burst in him in his game film. You seem to be an expert, your name isn't Mel Kiper is it?

Saying this draft sucks is a pretty bold statement since not one of these players has played an NFL snap yet. Give the kids a chance.

  • Well DHb has Great timed speed, and Great football speed.and he played very well against Cal, VA Tech,Clemson.

so what exactly is your beef with DHB?

    are you jealous?

  • actually, my team picked Percy Harvin, so I'm pretty content with that pick. He played much better talent day in and day out and put up better numbers. Plus he helped his team win the national championship while being not 100% healthy. So no, I'm not jealous. I'm just thinking the Raiders readed for this kid DHB as you like to call him, and he reminds me of Troy Williamson...a guy who was on nobody's radar until he ran a great 40 at the combine. In 5 years you will understand...take care

  • sorry, *REACHED* for this kid

  • first of i am done with you, when the NFL season starts we will see right?

    untill then shutup.

  • you are a hypocrite, how can you label DHB a bust when you yourself said:

"Saying this draft sucks is a pretty bold statement since not one of these players has played an NFL snap yet. Give the kids a chance."

  • Listen cupcake....if you read my post again, I said "he reminds me of Troy Williamson...a guy who was on nobody's radar until he ran a great 40 at the combine" I never called him a bust, I just think he could be. There is no question the Raiders fell in-love w/ his speed at the combine. That is typical Al Davis crap. Everybody knew Crabtree was the number one overall WR in the draft. The raiders will be kicking themselves in a few months.

  • None of you clowns knew who Darrius Heyward-Bey was 6 months ago, but I think we all knew who Michael Crabtree, Percy Harvin & Jermey Maclin were. There is a reason for that. Personally, I hope the kid does well in Oakland, because there is a ton of pressure when you are taken in the TOP 10 and get top 10 money. Time will tell. You guys need to calm down, there is too much flaming going on this board.

  • I guess Emmitt Smith was a bust too.

  • DHB=Torry Holt

    Crabtree=Armani Toomer

    Harvin=Santana Moss

    Maclin=D-Jackson

  • Torry Holt? Every single highlight shown on this video of Heyward-Bey was against Delaware, not exactly known for their football program, are they? This guy has bust written all over him...at least the other 3 guys played top-notch competition, esp Harvin. That dude is a playmaker. I really like Maclin too, I think he's going to flurish with Donovan hitting him in stride.
