Another quick fix solution for full fledged development :

1) Let the Naxals kidnap the most corrupt politicians and govt officials, instead of honest police officers who carry out orders from the chain of command above. Everybody would do their jobs with utmost sincerity.

2) Many "INDIANs" as in Kamal Hassan starrer "Indian" should evolve.

The situation can only change when self interest becomes subordinate to collective interest. Bring legislative change so as to stop the political bosses messing with honest officials and provide them fixed tenure of minimum 2 years and there exists a scope for change.Ofcourse, it involves attitude change in the minds of those cream layers of civil servants belonging to the so called elite " Indian Administrative Services" , who are more loyal to the politicians than our country and our people.

I think the reason for poverty in india is overpopulation. The poor have more children and little wealth or resources to provide them, which are further devided into those numerous kids. This increases unemployment and poorer getting poorer, IAS officers by large are corrupt and have stalled the country's growth for decades, but they play a minimal role in the massive indian poverty.

Hi....i saw ur video and the message there in.

Well all i want to say is "A Civil Servant or an IAS officer is not God. He is a common man among us with uncommon and special powers, yet bounded by the laws and procedures. How can you expect a drastic change from a person who has to take care of everything in a small district, let alone a big town or a state itself. It has been only 6 decades since India has achieved independence.

Its 300 out of 110 crores...India is a diverse country..n one cant expect the country to change drasctically overnight..We got indepence just 62 years ago n the country has deveoped a lot in this period.Its the duty of every citizen of the country takes up the responsibility n work towards its progress.

this is the fact of our country, the world bank report 2007 says every day more then 30 crore of people in india sleeping without taken food properly. this means what? where is our countryship? actually the countrymanship in india is dyeing in the people we ourselves responsible for it they dont have to blame to anyone. who thinks about the india ? politician, civil servants, Mnc's the citizen of this country are also divided in many tradition, rules, faiths, religion. they forget india......

This film makes no sense. A civil servant can't do anything without a mantri. They all report to corrupt politicians, who are really responsible. Honest civil servants are soon shunted to crappy posts, thus discouraging many who otherwise would have been honest. It is not civil servants, but people of INDIA who vote corrupt politicians to power to whom the civil servants report!
