Thanks! I've been attempting the infinity and the figure 8 for ages, I had worked out a method of doing it by myself which was a little complicated but yours is so much easier!
I love this look! I also have waist length hair that is very think. for the past 4 years I've only worn my hair in a pony tail, down, or in an "Olive Oil" bun. I was getting so bored with my hair that I was thinking about cutting it all off again; last time I cut it I cut it into a pixie style cut. So thank you for giving me two very simple hair styles that I can use!
This video has actually changed my life! I 've never seen anything like it and now I do this style all the time! Where do you get your plastic hairsticks? Thanks to you I finally understand how to work with a hairstick also. My hair is even longer. I can't believe I've had such long hair for such a long time and never knew these tricks. Wow and wow.
wow...u have a lot of hair...ive only had mine going to my mid torso, and that was hard and a PAIn for me(thick long hair? yeah no thanks). idk how u have such long hair.....
Gah, I've tried these buns over and over for weeks. With most attempts, after turning over the big coil, I get what looks like a chain, two circles on either side and a bar in the middle. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong?? ;o;
Thank u so so much, it look so easy for u to tie the bun. My hair length is similar to urs but I'm a asian who don't have the rich volum as urs.... :-(
lovely bun. I keep my afro- textured hair in protective styles 90% of the time. your updo's and braid styles are very beneficial. your video's are so upbeat and cheerful. thanks.
It should work. You may have a problem with some of your layers popping out, but that's why they make all of those cute little barrettes, right? You may want to try it with just the top half first and see if that works for you. I really hope it does!
Thank you so, so much for this video. It made my day to learn how to do my hair in a new way and you're so friendly and nice to watch. :) Also, you have gorgeous hair!
Thanks for sharing! I tried the inifinity bun and am winding up with some kind of variation that looks a bit different. It's still very pretty and comfortable, and is actually holding with only one hairstick - thanks!
Beautiful! I also pull the figure 8 down instead of pulling up which is more common. Makes sense to pull down as it feels so much better with heavy hair.
I still have trouble with hair sticks working and give in and use the small claw clips.
The sticks just hurt! How do you manage?
I need the distribution and can't get it from sticks. Im still working on it though.
Torrin, I love your videos. You've taught me so much! Before I found you on here everyone kept telling me to cut off my waist length hair. No more! I have a question though. When I use hair sticks my hairstyle falls out within a couple hours. What am I doing wrong? Also, I can't seem to hide the ends of my hair in a bun or anything. It's becoming quite frustrating because they keep peeping out. Any tips? My hair is waist length, so I don't think lack of length is the problem. Thanks so much! :)
From chin length to waist length took about 6 years (but I had a few big trims and layers and whatnot). It's been ten years since it was chin length, so the six is a guesstimate. I have no idea what you mean by loads of little rolls into a big one, so you'll have to elaborate on that one. :o) But thanks for the awesome!
I finally have enough length to do the infinity bun. So excited!!

My hair only kinda reaches the middle of my back and I've got long layers in it. Should it work or am I just a failure at doing my hair?
