BEWARE this breed can get ULCER with ONE (1) rimadyl---mine did! He barked for 11 nonstop hours DON'T give dog any GD drug just on say-so of vet, they CANNOT be trusted to inform you of what can go wrong! Older Samoyed with walking issue may have spinal gout at area where tail curls over. Shave fur, apply roll-on DMSO if gout is present DMSO will cure it fast. It was the ONLY thing that helped my poor dog after Rimadyl SCREWED him so terribly! PFIZER = Joseph STALIN.

My Nannas samoyed does a growly kinda howl when family enter her house he does that to me the most because I am the 1 who takes him out for walks.My Nanna use to have 2 samoyeds 1 called Sky the other Fleck unfortunately Sky died 7 months ago she still has Fleck.Sky was 8 when he died I had a samoyed called Del he died 2 months ago he was also 8 my Nannas 2 samoyeds and mine are all out the same litter (brothers) R.I.P Sky and Del I miss you both
