I'd have to say, they don't seem very loud at all, for being rated at 69CFM, they're pretty quiet. Now, my Yate Loon D12SH-12, a 40dBA, 88CFM fan, that's loud, lol.
If anyone has a problem with them being "loud", try putting them without anything blocking them (mesh, dust filters, or whatever else your case uses) and then listen to them.
@ArkAng3I Harlow's an idiot, he can't even pronounce Scythe or NZXT properly. It's not "skith", it's scythe, like the ones in their logo. It's NZXT, NOT NEXT. I saw his comparisons clip, stupid methods of "testing".
i'm about to buy 3 of these. i sure hope they are quieter than my thermaltake onez >_>

@TheGreenSmoke
no they are not. i own 8 of them.
19Dbs is Silent. the sound your hearing in the video is the air hitting the speaker...

@BKsMassive
I have 6 of them in a HAF 932 and the noise is pretty noticeable.

@TheGreenSmoke
No. 20Dbs is the sound of a silent room.
the noise you can hear is most likely all the air moving sense you have six high CFM fans.
BKsMassive 1 year ago
o.o Its 64 cfm, they say it on the box from cooler master and it is 19dba proved by TJ.Harlow and Cooler master
ArkAng3I 2 years ago
19 dba is actually the motor noise, not turbulence. 19db is inaudible to the human air at 1m.

i have 2 r4's in my radiator in push/pull. then are 90cfm.

I doubt they even do that, and even if they do, dBA will be a lot higher than 19. Getting a bit fed up with misleading specifications.

If you have these fans in a fan controller will the leds dim at lower settings?

i have been trying to find an aswer for these fan for ages, no one will give me a straight answer
With 1 or 2 of these fans in a case, are the audible? Are they silent or loud?
boofhead123456 3 years ago
Do you think these fans are too noisy or do they behave and still get good airflow with a fan controller?
