Because its a celebration of the blessing of the engines because the station has been shut down for years and they are celebrating them coming back in buisness. the siren is no longer for used for fire calls and since their the city they can do what ever they want

Good stuff! I've never seen them do just a single cabinet for both the controls and batteries. I would guess that it's still a 2805 because I think the idea behind the OmniAlert series is no voice, just tones, like an onmi version of the Vortex series.
