My home is down the street from this. I cant tell you how scary and hot it is to see this coming at you. Thank god for the fire fight in the air. These people are angels that saved us all.

yea my dumbass friend lives over in west ranch and rode his bike down to about 100 yards away from the fire at the bottom of his street. about 2 minutes later the sheriff came on his loudspeaker and was saying mandatory evacs and gave my buddy a ride up to his house.

ya that was a crazy week. I was watching the news then suddenly it showed Stevenson Ranch Fire and I started to freak out because I live in the area. I called my friends that live up their and one of them didn't know their was a fire till i told her and when she went outside she couldn't see thing cuz of the smoke and 5 minutes later she was evacuated.

I've watched several of your videos of these awful fires - amazing close-up stuff - hope you take care not to get caught up as I hear those winds change direction rapidly. It's shocking - I stayed in SCV twice when on holiday just 6-7 weeks ago. It is sad so many people's homes & livelihoods are destroyed or under threat :(

I hope the rain arrives soon & the fires are abated in Santa Clarita & the rest of California.
