On stockcharts(dot)com you can enter any symbol with ":$GOLD" following it to see it priced in gold. It's a better store of value than the dollar therefore it's a more accurate reflection of the true value of an instrument. When you look at the dow relative to this the rise is very small.

You can also view the dow jones in inflation adjusted dollars... some charting packages have this feature. If you do that it's also similar.

Many ways to see that the rise is just inflation.

Something else I think may be significant and related to the depression that's going on(I see it as an orchestrated collapse) is the Codex Alimentarius. Time will tell. When I was a child, I had a piggy bank. I recently came across my old piggy bank Money was still inside.
