@SataiDelenn Do you get Dejaview? Cause that channel is airing Silver Spoons weekdays and weekends from 11:00 to 12:00 that's two episodes, the weekends are currently in the second season, and weekdays are in the middle of the second season. The episode that aired yesterday is when Ricky gets Menudo to perform at his party.
I loved this show growing up as a kid. Thanks for posting this clip. The show was fun and humorous to watch. I've always loved the train the best. :-)
@MinisodeNetwork That was such a funny bit cuz everyone in the 80s knows what that wilting music means. It was good editing but I wish you showed the whole episode. How does Derek get out of Military school, since he's there with Ricky throughout?
This show had one problem: Rick Schroder was 12 when it started. I wish the series could have began right after his appearnace in "The Champ". That way, he would have been a "little boy" longer than just the first season or two.
Fun trivia the kid at the end of the show is Justin Bateman. His sister played on Family Ties. Alfonso Ribero (Don't remember exact spelling) later got his start on this show. Later he would star as Carlton on Fresh Prince. This was one of my favorite shows from my childhood.
I never say the first episode, but boy was I in love with Ricky Schroder by the end of it. And Jason Bateman at the end. Ha! he still uses that expression.
scary that Jason Bateman was so noticably *him* kind of like he got bigger, but didn't really change, and the doctor from Deep Space 9 and Stargate Atlantis as the criminal/business manager, cool cameos
the best thing of this vid is his small Train. thats what I love about this vid when I was a kid.

Joel Higgins'(Edward Stratton III) voice is almost identical to Ed O'Neil's(Al Bundy from "Married with Children") voice.
