"Same sex marriage" is an oxymoron. What is the point if anyone can marry anyone. From a Sociological standpoint there is no point to a society sanctioning "same-sex marriage". Sometimes there is a pyhsical difference between a gay man and straight man, such as lighter voice, a different movement in walking, different attitude or way of expression. in some case not true, but in many very true, That may be the nature part you comment about. Some find in teen years they have no interest in girls, but only as friends. Thats gay from the start. in some cases a man had many straight relationships go wrong and they try men.

I do however challenge the comment or idea that a baby is born gay. Is a baby born a killer? is a baby born as the president, a doctor, or a factory worker? Being gay is not a choice, one does not wake up one day and think to themselves. I want to be feared, hated, mistreated, or even killed by a huge part of the population that may include my family and all I hold dear. If it was a choice I doubt suicide rates would be as high in gay teens/young adults who can't change who they are and/or can't accept it, so they take their own lives. Because they see death as the only way out.

Let's call the relationship between people who believe marriage is a directive from god 'acquiescentage' and leave the word marriage for the people who enter into a binding relationship solely due to their mutual love, respect, and friendship. We can't really be sure why religious people get married--it might be for normal reasons, or it might be merely because they think god wants them to be married. To call them married is potentially misleading because of that.

I want to be feared, hated, mistreated, or even killed by a huge part of the population that may include my family and all I hold dear. If it was a choice I doubt suicide rates would be as high in gay teens/young adults who can't change who they are and/or can't accept it, so they take their own lives. Because they see death as the only way out.

I have a great wife, and 2 kids, so im not into the gay stuff, and know nothing about it, i worry more about a future for children, people having jobs and, All people having food to eat. i dont care much about a media topic like Gay Marriage. As far as Religion, i feel some really honestly believe and do as they say they do. but others. as they say "sin" but act as if they dont.

i really like this video! i am bi-sexual and have alot of gay friends and i dont understand why gay marriage is illegal? it isnt even hurting the government, if anything the government will be making money from all the marriages, house ownerships, insurance, and so on. The only difference? He's gay.
For a government to oppose such a pure and beautiful dream is a horrendous act. I know in my heart that my friend will achieve his future, and that one day our children can play together while we all watch and bitch about Bush. :D

I agree. Let's call the relationship between people who believe marriage is a directive from god 'acquiescentage' and leave the word marriage for the people who enter into a binding relationship solely due to their mutual love, respect, and friendship. We can't really be sure why religious people get married--it might be for normal reasons, or it might be merely because they think god wants them to be married. To call them married is potentially misleading because of that.

*Smiles* People seem to love that part of the video. That is the pairing of Geoff and Pavel from the UK (I think) show Raw. They work in a restaurant together named Raw, where Geoff is the bad boy whose openly gay. Pavel is the sweet waiter who had to leave his family because they couldn't accept him for who he was. They have feelings for each other and the kiss I used is them entering a relationship.
