  • Uy no..esta parte me llego al corazón T...T q berraquera de hombre!

  • nghi luc phi thuong

  • This is the best Paralympic Torch Ceremony, it's really emotional and epic than the Olympics ceremony - just a flying guy around the stadium. This shows more symbolism than the Olympics. Brilliant, it makes me want to carry the torch more than ever. xx

  • 人口も多い・・障害者も多いです。がんばれ~・・

  • 場内の聖火引継ぎです。

  • Really touching!

  • Whenever anyone needs to be inspired they should watch this. In life the greater the obstacles, the greater distance to cover, the greater the achievement. And so in some ways, the paralympics are the greater games. This perfectly encapsulates a nation, for much of the 20th century on its knees, renewed, and a people through blood, sweat and tears, resurrected. Watch in awe.

  • OMG! It was AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats amazing!!!

that really touched me :) best olympics and paralympics ever!!!

  • Hahaha, the CCTV broadcasters are always so into these things. If you understand Mandarin, you know what I mean =P

  • The guy is a beast, to climb that high in wheelchair, you have to give 100% and more!

    Great respect to Chinese people!

  • You maybe right but still, he did good job just being there!

  • True that.

  • uh thats not impossible.. there was like 6 pulleys to make it so it was very easy thats why 2 foot of rope pulled = 2 inches of displacement

  • ........good for you, you can do basic physics. Now study some Newtonian shit and come back to me.

  • yup yup!!

  • jsut cuz ur weak as shit dont be pissed

  • @DMxNemesis Some of the pulleys were there to lock in the climb - he doesn't have legs to wrap around the rope. Gearing or no gearing, he still climbed 15 floors straight up inside 3 minutes carrying a wheel chair with him. The message is simple: real success and achievement comes through effort, dedication and hard work, not by simply denigrating others.

  • @PurgePhantom: Pretty scary to be that high up sitting in a wheelchair.

  • Kudos to the BBC for their most extensive Paralympics broadcast to date. Most events broadcast live, including the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. It was the first Paralympic Games that I have watched on tv.

  • it is the most touching torch lighting i've ever seen!!! i really cried.. his so brave even if he has disabilities.. his a true inspiration.. My god bless you.. God bless China..

  • this is the most inspired touch lighting I ever saw

  • So much for human rights from the Western countries. They did not even broadcast the event.

  • what is the difrence of the Paralympic Games and the other one?

  • The Paralympic Games are for the people who are disabled - paralyzed, blind, ect. The Olympic Games are for the people who are not disabled - people who can see or talk, hat sort of things... hopefully i answered your question

  • this act represent that he and those are similar to him work hard to the way up, and finally get to the top.

  • Emocionante¡¡¡ y que voluntad

  • That man is a really strong man despite his disability.

  • INTENSE. AND AWESOME!!!

  • omg if every Olympic were in china

    and "WOW"

  • Comment removed

  • Bravest man i've ever seen.

  • Wow this guy can climb that with one leg in a wheel chair that is more than what most people do with two legs.

  • C'est Magnifique!!!! The most inspirational thing ive ever seen.

  • The olympics and paralympics even more so, is about struggle. The Chinese understand struggle. The athlete could have taken 3 hours to climb to the roof and the crowds would have waited and cheered. This is far more epic in scale and magnitude than the other guy flying around the stadium. I feel so much national pride I ache.

  • Is this olympic or wat?

  • wow!that was really amazing most especially that guy.he practiced for a long time that's for sure or else he can't reach the top. he's really great and i salute him. bravo!!!!

  • I don't know if he competed or not but that dude deserves a medal for lighting the torch. That was work. Awsome.

  • Wow... this is AMAZING! This made me cry!

  • sensacional raza, humanos extraordinarios

  • thank you olympic.

    thank you china.

    thank you people.

Love you all, proud of you all

  • paralympics rule

  • I think the Paralympic ceremony was better than the Olympic one. The closing ceremony looked like they had more fireworks. Yes - these commentators do talk a lot! I have the whole opening and closing ceremonies of both games saved from BBC HD (although they are saved in 720x434 pixels).

  • will zhu jun just fxxxing shut up!!!

cctv really dont know when to be quite and just let the audience to enjoy the show.

  • what's the title of the song

    in the last part?

  • where is NBC on this? All ppl in US do not have the chance to watch this touching moment. Shame on you NBC!

  • I Agree with ususopen !!!!!

Now, THIS IS UNBEATABLE !!!! They must have had this scouted to where it went off without a hitch like this. I Believe That if Enough People can come together and write OR email NBC AND The International Olympic Committee, AND The International Paralympic Committee with a Request To Show The Paralympics and The Olympics, Or Else, We would be able to see MORE MOMENTS LIKE THIS Eventually.

" It takes People To Make The Dream A Reality. " - Walt Disney

  • Here is what I am saying .... As of now, You can only watch The Olympics on NBC, But If WE THE PEOPLE THAT ARE WATCHING THIS and ENJOYING THIS will UNITE and ASK NBC Through Emailing NBC, and The International Olympic Committee, and The International Paralympic Committee, TO COVER THE PARALYMPICS LIKE THEY DO THE OLYMPICS,

Can You Imagine The Kind of Moments we would be seeing? Can You Imagine the kind of equality and oppertunity that MORE PEOPLE will have in the future?

  • wow!!! this flame is huge and brighter than the olympic one

  • Hey kevinwashere12345 !!!!

Are You refering to The Torch that he is Carrying, Or The Structure that he is lighting The Flame On? If You are Talking about The structure that He is lighting The Flame On, I have something to Tell You .....

This IS The Same Huge Flame that was made For The Olympics.

  • you are the true hero!

  • Dude, Do you know this is the exactly spirit of Olympic games? Listen to the cheers in the staduim.

  • kawaiizaizai123

thats exactly the attitude they're trying to break

  • Qué impresionante!!

    Simplemente me pongo de pie!!

Mis respetos y que motivación tan grande!!

  • omg I coudn't do that! how high was that?:O

  • hmmm i think it is at elst 10 storyes high

  • Great job!

  • The human spirit is amazing. What an inspiration!

  • How inspirational! Media worldwide should give Paralympics more coverage, the Paralympians deserve our highest respect!

  • an inspiration to anyone, not just handicapped

  • Incredible.

  • estas encendida del pebetero supero a cualquiera. es la mejor.

  • he was brill. a true inspiration to those who are handicapped.

  • this is very symbolic to what a disabled person has to go through life, eg the pain but the will to continue and succeed

  • Great job. That looks tiring.

  • Holy crap... the fire light up so much better than the regular olympics. @_ @ Whoo~

  • no pain no gain ...

  • 40m

  • How high did he climb?

  • This also reminds me the difficulties the torch went through during torch relay in some Western countries because of the undermining plot to seperate China. China will never fall down no matter how many troubles she experience. Never!!!!

  • I know you will never give up. I know how hard it is. I know how difficult it is. Don't give up. Never!!!!! China!!!! go!!!!!

  • this is amazing. and it's nice to see the cauldron lit again. :)

  • no matter how hard, this torch bearer shall exhaust all he can do to light the cauldron and bring shine to all of the athletes below..

  • Zhang2...

    U hv touch my soul

    TQ.

  • touching!!!

    What a lighting!

    Tears in my eyes
