Is this the only gun you own? I've always like the look of MP5s but you'd need an assault rifle with a longer barrel for longer range fighting. This MP5 must be great in CQB.

thanks! what a nice comment! i don't think there's room for an 8 cell (9.6v) battery in the back as the 7 cell only just fits. but i wouldn't recommend it anyway because the rate of fire is already pretty high.

i don't use a speed loader - i just pour them straight in from the bottle. i can fill a 200 mag in about 15 seconds this way. it's easier with the 400 mags because when you slide back the fake bullets there is an even larger hole to pour them in.

i have a 8.4 volt 1500 mAh battery if i wanted to put a 3800 mAh battery would it increase the rate of fire and if so will it evan fit in the gun keeping in mind its still an 8.4 volt

increasing mAh means more shots per charge, but it might increase rate of fire a little as well (i noticed that anyway). increasing the voltage would increase the rate of fire.

it's ABS plastic so it's pretty strong, but i wouldn't recommend dropping it on a hard surface. it's fine running around with it slung over your back and it should withstand a couple drops onto grass or dirt.

i think you may be right, or partially right.  i read that echo 1 asked JG to upgrade some parts such as the spring and JG liked the upgrades so much they added them to their own line of guns, so i assume that the newer JGs like mine come with M110 springs as standard.

Tons of places. Since you're in the US, try Evike for good quality airsoft guns. Walmart and Big 5 don't really sell the best, and they don't often come with a warranty. For international orders, you can try RSOV.

one guy's wires were caught up in the gearbox and got chopped up from it, the other's charging handle spring snapped and now he cant access his hopup, and the other guys barrel came bent and then his dust cover broke and wasnt able to close up. mine has only jammed once but i fixed it. =D

echo1 and jg are 2 dif companies. airsoft store owners will tell u the truth. they are the ones buying directly from the companies. Echo1 sells they're slightly defective parts to JG, so JG breaks faster and sells for less and they dont build correctly. 3 friends had JG m4A1's and i have an Echo1 M4A1 and all of theirs have broken. mine is still fine.
