why r u guys fighting over about the water bowl? the dog could have drank the small amount of water that was left or the dog was licking the bowl because of the scent. anyways nobody knows y he was licking that bowl except the owner. im just saying....
Listen, I don't know how long you have had dobermans, but they tent to get something called Woblers disease, which is a narrowing of the spinal canal(including the neck) which can pinch nerves. You may want to make sure he doesn't do this kind of thing, as it could cause problems. My boy had it before he died, and his back legs got really clumbsy., and could have ultimately caused him to be paralized. That long neck that is so common on Dobe's can also be problematic, so be careful!
@JaniceParton I'm thinking because the dog -drank it-. Don't be unreasonable, people are not at their dog's water dish 24/7. Somehow I don't think their dog will die of dehydration.
@khelkhet I was asking the owner. If the dog was licking for water, it was thirsty. You don't have to be at the dogs dish 24/7, who's unreasonable now? When a human is home, there's no excuse for empty water dishes. That's an essential. Before you start telling others about dogs issues, strap on a few more years of experience, as I have. Learn the rules.
