  • Also, is it possible this rotary connect may hinder rotation of the lower body on the through swing???? I understand your point about stability, but all pros I've ever seen on tape have 30-50 degrees of open hip position at impact...would this specific drill hinder this rotation??..thoughts Chuck??

  • @MrJb3golf That's part of the whole point of how we use it. Most tour pros eventually end up with back trouble due to over rotation of the hips in the donwswing. Watch all the downswing videos on the website if you don't undertand this as it's covered in great detail.

  • Thanks for the video Chuck! I really believe in your theory and the biomechanical support of such a theory. I just ordered this rotary connect and hope it will assist me in developing a more proper takeaway. It's funny, I shoot 10-12 over par regularly by swinging VERY wristy & arms only....I'm 6 3, 215 and fit, but I don't use any of my build properly......hopefully this will help my takeaway issues.. Thanks man!!

  • which setting do you put it on for the hip stability drill?

  • @johnclark237 For most people they will have it on the narrowest setting.
