Sorry I must be mistaken! There is a Copperhead in US that in venomous, but I did'nt know there was a venomous snake in Australia with the same name! You learn something new everyday!
I say rid the earth of the damn things. And for all you poison snake lovers tell your kids to go and pick some wildflowers and pet the damn snake as you lower you kid into the ground. I think these snake should be eradicated off the earth and there should be a ten dollar bounty on all of them.
@alanbstard4 their is such a thing as an inland taipan theirs is two types of tipan's in australia
@arieinthehouse their is snakes even in the city last year at the mcg in the car park
this video isntt even in order a redbelly black snake will go strait away if it see's a person their more scared of you and i know this as i live in the country were it is very common to have snakes at your house or shead
@MrTite102 don't worry there are not snakes everywhere in Australia just in rural places otherwise it is an amazing place to visit and even live considering i live there :)
@SATANWANJINA Yeah where do you live Northern Queensland, Northern Territory. There is not much of a difference between suburban area's & rural area's up there. In the major cities & pretty much in every suburban area apart form the very top of Australia. Snakes don't go into Suburbs & Cites.
Steve Irwin always maintained that by virtue of it's speed, size, aggressiveness, toxic venom, that the Taipan overall was the one that could be considered the most dangerous. Saw him on a special some years back, he handled different ones, was by far more careful with the Taipan than any other.
Snakes have varying degrees of aggressiveness and most will just slither away rather than bite if you give them enough warning from a distance. Usually...
I live in western Sydney and you are no more than 10 metres from something that can kill you.
Red back spiders are everywhere and snakes are common all over the metro area.
Oh and we do have the funnel web spider, you don't even make it to the phone with that bugger.
And don't even think about going to the beach. there is the box jellyfish. these buggers are gift rapped for gods sake and no.. You will not survive there sting, and the amount of sharks we have is rediculous.
Wait, red belly black snakes are deadly? I thought they were relatively harmless, sure you would get sick but die?.. I have seen them in my backyard on more then one occasion.
hey mate, nice video...we have tiger snakes down here in manjimup, western australia....but how could you forget the dugite?? those guys are nasty...they come straight at you! (we have em down here too) Could you make one on the top ten dangerous spiders in australian or the top ten dangerous sea creatures, cheers!
