You're so lucky... really are. It's amazing what a haircut can do~ I'm MTF but my hair is nowhere near going to help me look feminine since I'm dark skinned and have kinky hair. I really hope I find balance internally, because the mirror isn't going to help inspire me. I start hormones soon. I hope I have the strength to move on. I have to. @system123123 I just didn't care what they said. I did odd jobs for family friends, and eventually got a steady paycheck and paid for hormones that way. Eventually they gave up trying to talk me out of it, and things got a lot better once I moved out of the house to go to college in Canada. That said, they never kicked me our or did any of that shit. I'm very lucky to have a pretty progressive family. I have no idea if this will work for you, so do not take my words as gospel.

@MissSiul Keep your chin up kiddo! I know it's hard, but if you are only 15 you are still well ahead of the curve.. if Even I were to officially start to transition today at 31 I would be ahead of quite a few people... and I'm over twice your age.

I know of people who haven't gotten started until their 40's...50's and in a couple cases even 60's.

We both still have plenty of time!
