Yeah, I take back what I said. It does sound like theres a very quiet voice deep in the mix; and it sounds remarkably like the singing. But when I played it on my good headphones, I could tell it was a Synth track they used to back the voice.

And yeah, editing out a single part of the music isnt really feasible unless you have the master recording, which is usually recorded by each instrument separately.

This was probably done with audio editing tools, to reduce the volume of the voice. I say that because I dont think there was an instrumental version recorded.

Sorry, but you couldn't be more wrong. If editing tools had been used to "reduce the volume of the voice", the instruments themselves would've suffered as well. Compare this track to the original and see that this is a true instrumental.

Though that does seem plausable, there is a good chance that they did make an instrumental version as just about every song does. The producers of this song might have seen that this is a nice song even with out vocals and most llikely released this version which this youtuber picked up somewhere. Maybe. But maybe not :P. You could be right.
