  • Hey Paddyboy,

    The shower head supplied with the water heater already does that. When setting the control button located on the shower head to the off position, the water pump stops working so the water flow stops as well. It's even better that way since you may be standing at a distance from the water heater while you're taking a shower and not be able to turn the water off easily but the shower head is always close to you and easily accessible.

  • just put a valve (faucet) at the water inlet on the heater. that will allow the pump to shut on and off by itself as the faucet is turned on or off....then no worries of touching electic plug while wet.
