yeah although it was hillarious for NHL 02 for the jokes, But they sound like adult 10 year olds. My only problem with my copy NHL 2002 besides the fact that it doesn't work like it hates me because I scored goal after goal with larry lemeau on the custom team I made. Although its almost like people at the game were really freakin stupid. Like for example "The Earth is round not flat" in the game the year is 2001 not the 13th century when they also thaught the Earth was the center of everything

As of now, I plan to have February of next year be a different theme. That said, I will likely revisit sports month in the future. There are a lot of amazing sports games out there; far too many to sum up in 4 weeks.

I think you will find that the games I have chosen for this month cover a fairly broad cross-section of sports games.

Actually, I'm going in a different direction for the remainder of the month. I am going to cover one sport that most of us have probably never played, one fantasy sport that we never could play, and one sport's game that has excellent multiplayer formats.

NHL 2001 is a classic, used to love playing it on the PSX with a friend. Penalties off, big hits too the max and speed on the fastest lead to some awesome games.

Have you heard about Blood Bowl? It's football + Warhammer and they're making it for the consoles.

I have heard of Blood Bowl. In fact, I did a review of a similar, if more toned down, game in December called "Battle Ball."

I think it is fantastic that they are making it into a console title. I look forward to playing it.
