@HappyHawaiinSauce that because you have to use commando when it's filling up to channel it, like if you just use rav rav then it'll fill faster nut fall faster once your filling it up a bit switch to something with commando in it so it'll go down slower :)

i cant even beat this guy.if i fight him my way. i get him to 500100 (about 1/2 of his hp). if i follow the walk through exactly . i get him to 500089. he keeps throwing me in the air and slamming me into the ground do a 1 hit k.o on me. and he always do that move on lighting. and it really doesn't matter if i have my hp to 720 or higher. he still will kill me.. and why cant the stagger stay after you use odin in gestalt mode? it will be great if it did.

@WarriorAngel001 Depends on the Stagger % but for enemies with 110% stagger point it would still take 100 Attacks. Seeing as ruin gives .2% Attack gives .1% I think Ruinga gives 1% but its hard to say.. Either way.. You need to use ravagers. Its possible.

The Chapter 12 enemy that is a recolor of this one looks more like Bulbasaur. I had forgotton how powerful these enemies can be and I was like "OOH!! I WANNA KILL THE BULBASAUR" and got killed -.-. After a few retries, I found a strategy that works. Too bad I forgot it. :D

I've just beat this boss - he's tough, but i didn't have any problems beating it first time(without odin) - he has just a lot of HP, good mix of COM-MED + RAV-RAV + COM-RAV - and he's finished

Battle with odin was 5x harder, he was killing me every time

I got a bunch of potions and upgraded gladus to like lv 9 used slash and burn to stagger him healing hope and I everytime we flashed red then when he staggered I summoned Odin and attacked him until the summon gauge was almost empty then I went to gestalt mode and used all the lesser attacks until it did the finale then staggered him again and finished him off with launches all under slash and burn got 5 stars

This guy just took me a few tries to get down. He's such a hoar! D=

I started off with getting buffs on both Lightning and Hope while Lightning did some starter damage with Ruin spam. Then I switched to Slash & Burn to stabalize the stagger gauge while dealing damage, switching to War/Peace to heal up when necessary.

Once he was staggered, I got out Odin and blasted him to shit, then went between Slash/Burn and War/Peace as necessary until he was dead.

I only got 4 stars, but I'm happy.

Just completed it - heres a good tip - use war and peace keep attacking it whilst it attacks you (and heal with hope whilst also keeping that stagger bar up), then, when it switches its resistance type, it doesnt attack for a while so switch to dualcasting and get the all important stagger. If you dont manage to stagger it, just repeat war and peace whilst it starts to attack again! good luck hope this helps

Ok, for anyone who's really having trouble with this boss (That I thought was really easy), I'll give you the strategy I used to own it. Start off the fight with War&Peace, just to get a few hits in with your commando, and heal any early damage instantly. Then switch to Dualcasting to stagger, when its Staggered switch to Slash&Burn then rinse and repeat. Healing with Double Dose or War&Peace when you need to. Good luck

I didn't use Odin either. I use symbiosis to put buffs on, then Slash and Burn to get hs chain gauge up. Then doublecasting to stagger, then back to slash and burn to launch it up and keep it in the air. Then I repeated every time. NO sweat
