My Dad Frank Harris was gunlayer in one of the rear turrets which got hit in the River Plate battle. He was okay, but friends around him died. I still have a huge splinter from the Graff Spee shell here, which he had engraved. It's seriously heavy !

HMS Warspite hit the Italian Battleship Giulio Ceasare at about 26,000 yards at the Battle of Calabria (Or Punto Stila as the Italians called it).

Likewise, Scharnhorst hit the aircraft carrier HMS Glorious at the same sort of range off Norway the year before.

sorry mate but force k ended on the 8th of april 1942 when the hms penelope had to pull out of malta she was the last ship to get out i will be making a tribute to force k good video
