Paul Van Dyk was one of the best performances Ive ever seen. His music is sometimems okay (much like Teisto nothing to write home about) but his performances are SICK! if you haven't seen Paul van dyk live you haven't heard Paul van dyk.

The set at EDC was a little off but still brilliant. The whole world of EDM has gone pop and electro, and for an old timer like PVD to be able to reach the old market as well as the new one is pretty impressive. Very few DJ from the mid 90s still rock it like he does.

Its all a matter of preference I guess. His new style of combining trance and other forms of EDM is kind of innovative and so far he is the only one who can do it so clean. I kind of like it. it keeps the floor on its toes not sure whats coming next.

I normally do not find any person here (living in l.a.) that is really listening to electric music they might but dont really know what artist they are listening to.. and some really good house or trance is really rare here. in germany where i come from it is really much more popular. and house and trance by american dj's is not that good.. i dont like it that much. netherlands, sweden, france is the best...
