Mine does the same thing at idle... its fine when its actually moving. Yours looks like it does not not jump as high as mine when under load so you may want to get it checked at the source.
I had my shop check it at the source with a different sensor and its all in spec.
Take the front plugs out (easy as shit) and check the gap against what it should be (I forget). I got my VR4 for a steal because it was getting blowout and the guy thought it was fucked lol.
Ok the battery thing is an electrical problem, most automatic's 3s's have it. I had a 95 Stealth base (sohc) auto and it did that. As for the oil problem, it could be the sensor, it could be the oil pump, which isn't all that uncommon. When you redid the motor you should have replaced that as well with a high flow pump, that will shoot it right on back up there. As it stands now, it's fairly common. My 91 GTO TT is pretty low at idle, but its a big higher at 6k rpm. I wouldn't worry much.
I would use 10w-30 royal purple. If that does not change the oil pressure then check the pressure sender for possibly damaged wire or leaks, Check for dented oil pan also. And try adding like a half-quart of oil, most 3s guys claim aht between 4.5 to 5 quarts is best. not 4.25 as manual says.
@Rarul8 It depends on the climate you live in. Check forums for that information. From what most 3000gt owners claim that 10w30 and 10w40 are most suitable. Synthetic for high mileage cars. Options maintain your engine is oil cooler, synthetic oil, and aftermarket oil pressure guage. Oil problems are 3kgts worse enemy which can cause spun bearings.
Yea this is fine. I have a vr4 and it's the same. When I idle it drops pretty low and I used to get nervous but I found out that the only real problem is the gauge is inaccurate
my car did the same thing i got a 91 r/t it turned out to be the sending unit and also the stock oil gueage sucks they are not accuret at all man so dont depend on that stock one trust me oil pump and after market change just to be on safe side
That IS NOT NORMAL even on 3k's your oil pressure should be alot higher at 6000rpm. likely causes are, you used a performance oil filter, oil pump is bad, oil is low(i'm sure you checked) it should be 4 1/2 quarts,or the sensor is bad. good luck!
I have the exakt same problem with my 91 GTO TT. I havent notice any problem with ine yet. But iam as worried as you. So i just wonder if anything have happend with yours yet or is it still running fine?
i drive a 91 GTO TT , which is the jap 3000gt , dont worry so much i have the same thing its normal to have low oil pressure at idle and low rpm , i have to admit ur pressure is a bit not too much lower than mine , make sure ur oil level is ok , and u r using rigt wieght of oil for the operating temp , its pretty cold here , i use 5w30 , if its modrate where u live u should use 10w40 , cuz thats will affect ur pressure too, if its a TT dont let the oil stay beyond 4000K .
I drive a 3000GT SL 1998 and it does the same thing. Its not that low, but it is really close to that. Its been like that for a few months and Ive never had a problem. Just check the oil level every month and make sure it still at a good level. If your still worried about it, put another half to a full bottle of oil into the engine and you'll be fine.
did you have your right blinker on and turn left??? nice!

the stock guages do nothing you need a oil pressure tester for accuracy

his oil pressure sender can be bad or the oil pressure relief valve could be stuck open
