dear King Blues, ive got AS English tomorrow... if you could just sort out some Keats or Hardy for me it would make my afternoon of revision much more enjoyable. cheers :)
@xmanningx I was at the Sheffield gig, and the only bouncers that where there where the ones that are always at Corp. They weren't hired just for the gig. X
itch is better, lord byron was a fairly mediocre upper class romantic poet who got the reputation more through who he shagged than his lyrics... itch does him a favour here, makes him sound better than he is
WTF, i got headbutted at the damned for liking slipknot. so you just ultimately convinced me that all punks have a chip on there shoulder about what the genre of punk should conform to, besides they are punk reggae
NOBODY had heard of King Blues EVER, and they got to play lots of festivals, and now loadsa people know them. And so people should, Itch is a fuckign great poet :)
It's called success. A good band is getting more fans and spreading their message. If these Indie kids are trend following then they'll be gone soon so you have nothing to worry about. Besides, part of Itch's message is that it doesn't matter what taste, style or look you have. So why would it matter if they hop on the bandwagon? Let them up, make them feel welcome and long may this wagon roll on.
i really hope they don't get masssively huge, i think they're whole purpose will be completely snubbed if they get placed with some Arctic Monkey persona. Plus, listening to them in an arena would be such a waste.Long live Itch (L)
i went 2 the king blues att the square in harlow nd it well small in there nd i was right at the front so i was way close 2 them it was sooooo gdgd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely great video. I agree Itch is an amazing poet/performer. i love "What If Punk Never Happened" and "5 Bottles Of Shampoo" (heard that one at their latest gig...freakin sweet!)
Hiya, I saw the guys perform 11th May at the Strathclyde Student Union in Glasgow. I only knew about it because I saw them at the Glasgow Barfly in February and got put on their mailing list. Hope that helps! Cheerio! Luv Kx
Much respect to the king blues for this long time fan before you even got raped by the radios. Nuff respect for the poetry appreciation though lads. NUFF respect.

I fell in love with this poem while reading "The Martian Chronicles" by Ray Bradbury.
This version, this treatment, is absolutely exquisite. To The King Blues!
