I love processing because of the easy serial support-but It's great for audio/visual stuff too! And for anyone who wants to learn it, it's based off of C/C++ and similar to the arduino language (arduino is processing+wiring). It's not "beginner" stuff to learn, more intermediate I would say.
@ossumguywill its based off from Java, not C/C++, if you dont beleave me, put on the top " import java.util.*; "
Arduino language is based off Wiring, and Wiring is based on C/C++.
Processing and Arduino are really nice ways of having fun while learning, myself, i am studying eletronics and comunications, but I am a long time programmer, so, this mix and match of areas provide me with the skills to make some very nice stuff.
One thing can be mapping a radio frequence (fisical) to a graph, cool
your rotating the perspective to thin slices which are absolutely flat, but the detail on the other two dimensions i admit gets complex. because it is in slices your making like a polarizing lense which get progressively more or let detailed, and you put a brightness factor in to respond to amount of variables sent to the graphics card.
cool

You've done splendid work. :) I've just started with processing so I know very very basic things. But still this looks great. :)

very restrained. I like it alot. Interesting to see sound reactive stuff that works well with tonally driven music.

Good call. Unlike most visuals, a connection can be observed between the visual and the audio driving it. Thumbs up man.
