Oh yeah and he has a ridiculous voice that embodies so much soul and grit that you can truly feel what he's singing. You don't get soul like that living an easy pain free life. One of my biggest guitar heroes....I just really prefer his earlier Ozzy stuff than anything BLS has done. His acoustic stuff...Pride And Glory and the acoustic BLS shit.....man, that's the soul you used to see all the time back in the day!

The earlier stuff was great and it is different than his latest stuff so I can see where you are coming from but his newer stuff is what really made Zakk for me, his cover of "I never dreamed" from Mafia has some of the most awesomely jagged, soulful guitar work I have ever heard, comparable to Stevie Ray or Dimebag. Then you have "New Religion" from Shot to Hell. The future of guitar is a bright one with players like Zakk.

Zakk is an amzing guitarist, there is no doubt about it, but I find he gets too caught up with his solos and shredding and it seems out of sync and a little too powerfull for the rythym, which to me is the base of the song. It seems Nick is constantly trying to work out Zakks speed to catch up or slow down when surely Zakk should be using Nick as a base to play over. Just a opinion!!!
