  • My favorite Carcass, what the hell. haha

  • I lost all the albums i had of these guys... biggest mistake in my life.

  • This is actually kinda cool haha.

  • The rhythm guitar sounds very similar tonewise to the original recording.

  • @BusterBlader350 this is a cover from carcass

  • @acidif666 but it is made by the berzerker... so its a berzerker's song but originally from carcass

  • 2 of the best bands ever! Berzerker doing a Carcass track is just the shit.

  • I'm gonna stick with Carcass.

  • @BusterBlader350 it's a cover...

  • Hate the techno sound drums

  • fucking shit, the fake drums sound like a glitch on the cd

  • @slantyrock fuck you

  • @slantyrock real drummer + drums triggers = this hardcore sound

  • @enfermowtf it's fucking ghastly and retarded, go fuck yourself.

  • @slantyrock GTFO if you don't like, cunt

  • @enfermowtf out? lol, you silly little twat.

  • Damn it, I love that opening. Sends chills down my spine. The whole fucking song does, actually. I love it.

'Identifying bodies which are decomposed, dismembered, skeletalized poses a very serious problem. We've had many cases in this department where a body has been found in pieces, or decomposed and we've been able to put things together.'

  • I dont like it Nah i pass

  • @azragnotna They use a drum machine on all albums except the second.

  • It's a real drummer. You should see them live.

  • The Berzerker have to kneel down and lick the holy shit of Carcass!!

  • brilliant song

  • tbf.. if anyone is stupid enough to say this is a real drummer, they must have fucking light speed legs then. Dipshit. listen at 1:30

    Nothing can drum that fast.

  • Lol have you ever seen them live? They use a real drummer. For this song too.

  • this is a really shit the carcass original version its much better they play to fast and his gutural voice its so bad

  • Is that Richard Dawkins in the beginning?

  • @freedomisntfreeffs Nah it's your dad bro

  • Are you drunk?

  • @freedomisntfreeffs

    Nah I'm stoned

  • oo good song.. especially since this album has a real drummer

  • piece of shit... oginal version is much better...

  • This version is better

  • No.

  • What's with the title? It's a cover, isn't it?

And I've heard the dialouge at the start somewhere...

    Also, this is awesome.

  • tis indeed a cover ov carcass

  • Nice...any idea where the dialogue is from?

  • @binarynightmare

The dialogue might be from one of the "Faces of Death" documentary movies, many of the dialogues used by The Berzerker in their songs are taken from there. I'm not sure about this particular song tho.

  • Ah, thank you.

I heard the Carcass original, and to be honest, I actually like this one better.

  • Yea, so do I. I don't really like the original.

  • I think it's that weird synth thing near the start. Gets you pumped for the song. Then the song happens and it's wesome.

  • weird synth thing = distorted kickdrums! :)

the guy (is his name luke?) is very much influenced by a style of electronic music called speedcore, which based almost completely around massive dirty kickdrums at ridiculous tempos. look it up, you may like :)

  • Speedcore it is!

    Thank you, sir!

  • both versions are good but i rather the berzerkers version cause of the electronic edge

  • This is okay. Haven't heard the Carcass version yet.

  • I'm in love with the drumming

  • carcass is so much better, fuck this cybergrind shit.

  • carcass's original was better this was just....a little wierd but still kinda cool

  • Carcass pwns this shit..

  • Berzeker is best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!=)

  • good old carcass

  • this is an alright cover. the beginning could've been done better, i still prefer the original. carcass is the shit

  • best song.

the rest is not music. lol

  • Wtf?

  • way better then the carcass version

  • saw them live a few months ago, was amazing, but my mate and i tried to get a smash pit going and i mean fucking tried, but everyone spaced themselves from us and all we succeded in doing was coping a couple of punches to the face, dissapointed in the melbourne crowd that night :(

  • @dezstroyer666 wtf? no pits at a metal show. are berzerker fans fags or something?

  • yeah im not sure, i thought it would have been insane, i was baffled and still am

  • I just saw the too.

    Edmonton alberta

  • Seen them last night w/ Obituary and Goatwhore. It was like a nuke bomb going off for an hour. Great show and very intense. No One Wins live is bad ass.

  • :) today is the day actually! yay

  • this is a good carcass cover, i'm seeing the berzerker with obituary and krisiun next thursday I can't fucking wait

  • i wish i were u right now:(

  • Holy dumb fuck.

    This is amazing.

  • sick sick sick. who gives a shit if the drums are triggered, synthesized or whatever. just enjoy the fucking song

  • Dunno what everyone is arguing about, its a tribute to show respect, not a fucking competition. Both versions are brutal in their own way and both are great.

  • I have to say The Berzerker's version is better. Not that Carcass is bad, but when I listen to the original version, I don't get much of an urge to destroy shit as I do with The Berzerker's version.

  • how do ppl do that electronic drumming. like the one in the begininning.

  • its not electronic drumming, thats actually their drummer and they distored the drums afterword.

  • how did they distort it??

  • I assume using some sort of music software like pro tools

  • it's all triggered

  • i like the version the berzerker did. it's so much better

  • well, at least these guys know how to make a good cover...

vader covered raining blood from slayer once, it really sucked

  • I don't hate genres as a whole, just as a majority. Metalcore as a majority sucks, but there is some alright stuff, same with glam, deathcore and other types of music.

  • hmmm, I like the berzerker but they probably shouldn't have done this, could have done foeticide

the original is perfect though =)

  • They're both good. I prefer Carcass's original version, but the electronic drumming adds an interesting element to the song. It's hard to say which one is necessarily better - they're just different.

  • how do ppl do that electronic drumming. like the one in the begininning.

    or is it all programming.

  • some of the drums are programmed and some the drummer plays on an electric kit. at least live, not sure about studio. he also drums over programmed stuff to make a harmony, if you can call it that.

  • This track, as far as i know is done by a drummer, the first album was a synthesised drum kit ;)

  • when u say the first album was a synthesised drum kit do u mean it was like programmed??

    or wat?

  • he recorded dissimulate on a acoustic kit, with a electronic snare pad,an everything triggered.u can see that on dvd.

  • triggers

    google it :D

  • This is a fucking joke. Berzerker are usually ok, but this is proper shit. Compared to Carcass's version, its insulting.

  • dude in my opinion the carcass version sounded like those fucking aliens in resistance dude but i still give them credit for inventing those badass riffs

  • the carcass original version is waaaaay better

  • ahah, I was so stoked when I saw this. pree cool, but still not as good as carcass. xD

  • Obviously your egos are too high to ever do this but ffs listen to the god damn song and stfu or go listen to some other shit. You people are trying to etiquette this music like some kind of idealistic elitists.

  • Yes.

Also things like In Flames, COB, ...

  • the really sick thing with this is that it's a human at the drums on this album.

  • this was a cover song

  • I have no idea wich music style this is, but I just hope they do not call it metal.

  • Industrial death metal. Why the fuck would you be disgraced about this when METALcore is running loose. That has metal in its title and it fucking blows! Also glam metal is shit.

  • What a rape. Seriously some dumb fucks ruining metal. If you make this kind of music, at least get a name for it. Don't just steal a name, this is what scares people of if they hear the word metal.

  • I've been into The Berzerker for some years now. If it wasn't for this posting, I might not be into Carcass. I saw these comments, looked up the live version of this song (and few others) then I ran out and bought Necroticism. I love it!

As for whose version is better... I think that Carcass' version is inherently better because its their song, but the Berzerker definately made it their own.

  • i love how well the drummer has mastered blasting and following the rythm guitar with double kick, it sounds fuckin awesome is some of the band's faster songs like "No One Wins"

  • i think the original was more brutal than this... they sped it up too much and lost all the heavy

  • One of the most brutal bands EVER!

  • i HAD this album it got stolen, it was the limted edition one with the Dvd it was fucking sick but im gonna go buy the others now...

  • They go faster then the original I like that.

I also cummed in the intro xD

  • lol ..... lol??

  • not lol.

  • haha i like this better than carcass's version simply because of the distorted bass drums hahaha.

  • But you gotta love the effects on his bass drum

  • love this song!!!

  • you do kno that carcass was one of the bands that inspired these guys and i guess they just wanted to do a tribute? i dont mind it but i prefer some of there other songs (please dont bother arguing i wont reply)

  • and or because luke kenny when it was just him he did alot of remix type things from bands like deicide and morbid angel (i think) he just wanted to do one of carcass but with his type of style (again please dont bother starting a argument i wont reply)

  • Well they started by doing covers of older bands

  • you know this is an allright cover but i hate drum machines but it still sounds allright \m/\m/

  • This isn't a drum machine. This is from the only album they used a real drummer.

  • This isn't a drum Machine, it's from their second album which they used a real drummer on. He just uses custom triggers to get the electronic sound.

  • damn didnt know that thanks for the clear up dude \m/

  • The original version by Carcass is far superior

  • lol this is...brutal XD good, but the original is better :D

  • this is fucking good music..gotta love berzerker..

  • This is on par with the heavyness of Reek Of Putrefection

  • Both bands are amazing.

  • actually it's called cybergrind..

  • I wanna s4e you blast beat that fast, Cock.

  • It's alittle too fast, but hey, you gotta love Carcass.

  • Is there a name for that kind of "music" ? This is not Metal is it ?

  • Either way, its better than Sunn O)))

  • fag

  • its super fast and the electronic drums are pretty sweet, but the vocals kinda ruin a little bit i prefer the carcass version.

  • there is a reason man for them cuase they wanted to up the speed and couldn't find anyone that could keep up

  • nice electronic drumming

  • Its a pretty badass Cover but the electronic drumming am not liking too much.

  • helllll yeahhh

  • FUCK YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • both have their ups and downs IMO. in general i prefer the original, but depending on what mood i'm in i often prefer the cover up to the point with the stupidly fast double bass. while that kind of speed is amazing it gets a bit much after there IMO. carcass' version wins for overall listenabilty IMO.

BTW, i'm a big berzerker fan, its not like i can't handle this degree of heavyness, its just something about this cover.

  • esta chido pero el original esta mejor

  • very cool one great carcass cover almost tops the orginal

  • love it <3

  • o kurwa ale gówno jedynie CARCASS może to grać a nie jakieś techno pedały

  • this song makes me happy.

  • LoL

  • Interesting, but nowhere as good as the original.

  • berzerker rules

  • sounds sick with the drum machine!techno grind ...lol

  • Actually, Gary Thomas recorded with Berzerker on this. So it is him doing the double bass.

  • yeah, the whole album was done with a real drummer..

  • its a drum machine isnt it?

  • nope, thats a real drummer. Their first album had a drum machine though.

  • Theyre drummer sounds like the best on electric drums to me =]

  • Ok,Now If listened to it a few times,I like it,sorry for that bad comment

  • why these sick assholes could not leave masters who are above their reach? Carcass i carcass and this song is rhytmically bit different

  • yeah the guys name is gary thomas and the berzerker only had a durrmer for the Dissimulate cd the rest was a drumming machine. He is rated at 19 bps

  • BEST BERZERKER SONG EVER lol even if it is a cover

  • carcass is totally better than the berzerker. but the berzerker is also totally growing on me.

  • agreed! the berzerker needs to be played with absolute precision, and if someone is brave enough to take on the task, editing is allowed to correct what didn't go quite right.

i actually don't know what gary does nowadays.. could try googling!

  • true, but.

there is no doubt that the drums for dissimulate weren't pro-tools'd a lot.

if you have the dvd, watch the "making of dissimulate" documentary and you'll notice that when gary plays triplets on the kick drums while recording, they appear as 16-ths on the record. it was a bit of a letdown for me, but i still think this album is one of my all-time favourites. :)

  • ooo lol industrial grincore lolz so fuckin great!

  • yea thats ther drummer.hes afuckingmazing

  • In some video's you see a band member drumming?

  • Triggers?

  • without words..

  • not for this song my friend.

  • vet berzerker the best

  • one of thier best songs, its just as good as the orginal by legendary Carcass, if not better

  • well unlike u, its obvious to keep an open mind, Carcass may hold claim to the original version but this version is cleverly done in that they can convert the synthesizer to match the opening drums from the original and that it is heavier then the original in double bass and snare abuse

  • cudnt agree more

  • Fuck 1:27-1:50 is INSANE

  • Imagine how much training, and skill that would take, how your legs would fell, what it would feel like to be kicked by the drummer, and how little rep Berzerker gets for speed and brutaility ...
