That's precious. My Pit loved the water until I got the hose and the shampoo. You'd think I was about to beat him, but being the well trained dog that he was he'd sit and stay until his bath was over and he was all clean and dry. Then he'd take off running into the yard and roll around in the grass for 10 minutes. LOL. I miss my fat head boy.

Very cute little guy...I have a little blue girl that is getting close to 7 months....When she hears the word bath she is running back to my bed to hide under the covers...lol

But she should learn to love the water when we go to the lake this summer, her best buddy is a 100lb chocolate lab...and we can't keep him out of the water. So we are hoping she follows his lead and gets to love the water

@lazarus: I'm sorry to hear you got attacked, but that could happen with any breed of dog. True APBT's are bred to be human friendly, not aggressive so the dog that attacked you was most likely abused or some backyard bred piece of garbage not a real pit bull terrier.

i'm really sorry that happened to you. it must have been really scary & i don't blame you for feeling angry. it makes me sad that bad people make bad dogs who hurt people, b/c my pitbull was so sweet he made friends w/kittens and everyone alive. when they're not tortured they are better than anything on earth. i hope you heal in your body and your mind, too; getting attacked can be very traumatizing but maybe one day you won't hate all pitbulls any more, i hope.

yeah well me in him were in the same hospital room, i got 22 stitches and he got 46 his side was torn apart, and just yesterday i sat down on the sidewalk fixing my shoe and this lady with a pit bull walked by me and the pit bull was right infront of my face i said, GET THIS DOG OUT OF MY FACE, and so she looks at me shes like piss off...

I know where ur coming from. But most pits, even the ones that were hurt worse than you were by horrible people, really want to love & be loved. I've worked w/so many abused pits & 99% of them are just so forgiving & loving. I wish I could do more to stop the horrible problems created by people who abuse these dogs & end up hurting human beings too; it's not fair to innocent victims, animal & human. But you'll be a stronger person w/great character if you come out & forgive, too. :)
