I love Sheryl Lee, I'll always love her for playing Laura in Twin Peaks, and I would have loved her to have been given a role on desperate housewives. But Brenda Strong is a better Mary Alice than Sheryl is. Still, I would love to have a DVD of the unaired pilot episode. Though I think I've seen all the scenes that had the three actors who were replaced here on youtube. It's thanks to people like you who make it possible for us to see these clips. this was the "pilot" episode. when the show got picked up for the season, producers changed a few characters that they didn't think fit the show. The reshot the entire episode and thats what was premiered to The U.S and then eventually to the rest of the world.
