So, I am guessing it was a case of mistaken identity. Just last week I was sitting in my friend Lisa's car at the mall parking lot. I saw I six foot 5ish stringy guy walking by, and thinking it was my cousin, I rolled down the window and screamed obnoxiously (because he totes loves it when I do that in public, "HEY! You there! Ginger!" The guys turned around, and it was most definitely not Steven... I slunked down in my seat until Lisa came out and started the car. (tragic sob)

I have things like that happen to me though normally they don't shout at me.

I found out after I graduated high school that people actually liked me in school I thought I was a loner & that no one would really remember me. But now when Im home all these people come up to me & ask me about college and I have no idea who they are. That or they know me from my volunteer work and I don't know them because I see far to many people to remember every face.

I hate the feeling that I should know them :(

next time...just say "i don't remember you"- it's not the same as saying "i don't know you" because you fit the person's mindset-if they know you it's like you know them but can't quite remember the name, or your trying to be polite even though you haven't met the person, and both ways, you can shove the potential anger on to your stupidity, this is why i always say that it takes me 10 times to remember anyones name, thus i always avoid a bad situation, and get + points when i do remember.
