I don't need to go to a App Store. I can put every freakin program on this thing. Like Photoshop. Not just a cutdown app-version of Photoshop. Real Photoshop with hundreds of layers, all the effects and professional settings this software can offer.
Microsoft should hurry and either get WP7 on tablets and do a co-licensing deal for W7 AND WP7, or get the WP7 Metro interface working smoothly and effectively atop W7. The rumors are that the latter is planned for Windows 8 running a dual UI codenamed Mosh, Unfortunately, the W8 projected FINAL release date is mid-2012. Perhaps Microsoft is playing it very smart and being strategic; despite appearances, the mobile world is still in its infancy; a MORE compelling experience is always welcomed.

"App store"? Bleah. How about Photoshop, Flash, Ableton Live, Audacity, Corel Paint, etc? Like those "apps"?

I want to go to an App Store, I know that the apps I get on it will be reliable and safe, as they are checked by apple.
