I have hunted on public land for the first time in Kansas last year and seen bucks in the 170 to 180 class. I missed the one I wanted right before thanksgiving and never seen him again. I seen more bucks then I did does that year. The deer are out there you just have put the time in before the season starts.
All the video of everyone of those bucks was taken on public land in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri. Every buck that we show dead on that video is from public land. It can be done if you know what your doing.
@TeamCCO come to minnesota and try it you might find it a little harder haha been hunting the same land for 50 years biggest we ever took was a 130 inch 10 point and a 120 inch 8 point haha

definately like california's public lands.....ur lucky to see more than one legal buck a season here,,,.... :(
