this is random but in the beginning of this song it sounds like the song Allan plays in Sailor Moon..at least i think it's Allan :/ just my opinion though.
One thing I do like more about FMA than Brotherhood, is that FMA features beautiful an amazing soundtracks like this. This just kills me on the inside!
@dnd00719953 Yeah :) each one has some great elements. Overall, FMAB is better, and the ending is far superior, but I wish they repalced the first 15 or so episodes of FMAB with the first 40 or so of FMA to give the extra detail, and used the brilliant music from FMAB.

@gohanluigi123 I used to think the same way but think about it this way: Arakawa made a world were alchemy is a science and you know the rest of the story, but what comes later is yours to decide. Arakawa made a story, Aikawa too and I bet all of us are guessing what comes after the ending. We all have a bit of FMA inside of us, that's what's keeping us talking. Just because it's the original story doesn't make it better, that's how the first anime and fanfics are born (even if I hate 'em -.-").
@gohanluigi123 The animation is as limited as the others but it still focused more on movement. I won't say the Ishvalan War wasn't a good addition since it made me reflect a lot about the events of the war in Iraq, but remember that it wasn't BH's doing, it was pretty much the same in the manga, so I still confirm that BH is a "lazy" anime. And I didn't say EE wasn't mentioned, it's just portraied like a flawless law and didn't make me reflect about it like FMA did were it's flaws are exposed.
@gohanluigi123 Belive me, I watched (and actually enjoyed) every bit of it and it took me a very long time to reflect about witch anime is best. Those aren't pointless comments, it took me months to come to the conclusion that I like the first anime better and I'm not taking back any of it. I enjoyed the first anime's originality over BH's action and that's why I think it deserves more, since it's an anime that has something rare to offer compared to it's "cummon" successor.

Since April 10th 2009 I woke up every Sunday morning to watch it raw, watched the english fansub on every Monday or Tuesday, watched the official italian Panini sub every Wednesday and starting November 13th 2009 I watched the ITALIAN dub every Tuesday and since I don't live in America I watched the FUNImation dub of episodes 1-26 in streaming on random days.

this makes me think of the aftermath of the ishbal massacre. just scenes of devastation and death with roy standing there looking onward in shock and as the sun set's.

FMA Brotherhood is the real Fullmetal Alchemist. It's based of the manga.
Hiromu Arakawa made the real one --> manga. FMA Brotherhood is based of the manga. The other FMA has it's own story and has nothing to do with the real story. Arakawa did not make that FMA.
And I bet you never watched the ending of Brotherhood. The final is just epic.

@disturbing123456 I too didn't like brotherhood, it's the laziest anime ever! The bad animation, the editing is crap and the music is nothing compared to this. You know why I like the original better? The editing. They couldn't follow the story so Shou Aikawa made it up and it was great! They put everything that made FMA unique: the steampunkish style, the traveling theme, alchemy and made it a bit slow to give the anime more dept. the original story was too fast-peaced, like any other shounen!

When I hear it I feel like humming to it, to express the true emotion behind the song. To let my mind slip to my nostalgia and blissful memories of the past.
I've got to say, Maes Hughes was my favorite character in FMA. His death was a complete shock to me, but it was one of those honorable yet inevitable deaths- they always kill off the best characters. His funeral made me tear up. He was a great character, and an incredible friend/dad/husband. Roy, Ed, and Al, and Glacia and Elicia, you're lucky guys.

FMA Brotherhood is the real Fullmetal Alchemist. It's based of the manga.
Hiromu Arakawa made the real one --> manga. FMA Brotherhood is based of the manga. The other FMA has it's own story and has nothing to do with the real story. Arakawa did not make that FMA.
And I bet you never watched the ending of Brotherhood. The final is just epic.

@disturbing123456 I too didn't like brotherhood, it's the laziest anime ever! The bad animation, the editing is crap and the music is nothing compared to this. You know why I like the original better? The editing. They couldn't follow the story so Shou Aikawa made it up and it was great! They put everything that made FMA unique: the steampunkish style, the traveling theme, alchemy and made it a bit slow to give the anime more dept. the original story was too fast-peaced, like any other shounen!

I've got to say, Maes Hughes was my favorite character in FMA. His death was a complete shock to me, but it was one of those honorable yet inevitable deaths- they always kill off the best characters. His funeral made me tear up. He was a great character, and an incredible friend/dad/husband. Roy, Ed, and Al, and Glacia and Elicia, you're lucky guys.
