this video helped me decide to get the exhaust, got it installed yesterday. one question though, mine is rubbing against the middle bar @0:18 close to the cat. did you have this problem? thanks
tune did not really do too much for max hp. it was mainly in the midrange to make up for the gap between 4K rpms and Vtec. If you are at sea level, you should see around 207-210 at the wheels after tune and header. I have the same exhaust with the vibrant cat-delete header with flashpro (tuned). Only prob. for me was the 6400 ft elevation! 202 WHP.
Let's clear things up a bit. The Civic Si makes 197BHP stock. So in reality, the Civic Si makes probably 175WHP. With the Intake and Exhaust, the Si makes 197WHP. So the Si probably makes 220BHP.
BHP=Break Horsepower
WHP= Wheel Horsepower.
A 20HP increase is damn good for just a Cat-Back and Intake. Well done Skunk2
@shadowxmutiny14 Correct. But unfortunately Honda measures it from the crank. A normal stock civic si will only put about 170-175 of that actual power to the ground.
197 is stock, but that's the horspower being put down to the crank/flywheel. If you dyno'd a stock Si, it would be around 180-185 whp. So getting 197whp from just an intake and exhaust is impressive.

Very cool. What does a stock si (or si with just intake) put down on your dynojet?
