trust me, it is the devil who is creating so much of problems for the Church...and if we also run away from priesthood it shows that we've succumbed to his power...im an 18 year-old guy..Protestant...frm Calcutta, India..the place where MOTHER TERESA had worked...and im waiting for a vocation..if u have received a calling then plz do not hesitate...i think u need to be careful in selecting the rite order...and im sure that God will be with u always..datz Jesus' promise..GOD BLESS...wl Pray 4 u..

I had seriously considered that I had a vocation for the sisterhood. But, shortly before I was about to commence a postulancy, a friend gave me a book entitled "Button Your Blouse, Bitch." It was a disturbing memoir of a young girl who left a Dominican order after several years in the novitiate. The list of physical and emotional abuses she lists were disturbing in the extreme: forced anal servitude to priests, humiliation training, and so forth. It was enough to change my mind utterly.

@skanemermaid hi...well...i do agree that there are sum exceptions wen it comes to priests and nuns...i too have heard bout the sex abuse cases, sodomy and many other un-Godly practices...
we all live in an age wen there wl be a lot of problems wen it comes to placing ur faith and working for Jesus Christ...but dont let any of the problems of this world deter u; we r not ppl of this world..

The white collar is quite nice, but nothing beats up a buttoned up blouse collar for contemporary nunliness.
