@niclasjt when he said it i think he meant that remakes of British shows rarely work, with the exception of All in The Family, which was based on the show Till Death Do Us Part, as the mass styles of comedy between the two nations are very different, hence why the different global versions of Top Gear all have a different feel from the UK original
